Never again Scandic…..

I understand you want to make money. I have a company myself…..We arrived an hour before check-in at 10.00. 4pm, which is a late check-in, this is calculated by some clever CEO. Tired after a long trip… asked nicely if it was possible to check in a little earlier 1 hour. Yes it went but pay 200: - dk extra, come on….. in addition, two breakfasts were added which I had not ordered. Overcharged on my account..
Furthermore, many had done like us and arrived a little too early and what happened, massive queue at 10.00. 16:00, we got access to our room much later. The room was nice and the receptionist was friendly and professional in every way. What happened to the watchword in the hotel industry “hospitalety” as I said never again Scandic…

Unfresh, rooms without ventilation, with dirty toilets and stained carpets

I have never seen so many stains on hotel carpets. And such disgusting / worn toilets you only expect in the Third World. The lack of ventilation is revealed directly by the windows are full of imm. A tiny pillow per bed might work for five-year-old children..
Of course, the pool is out of use -maybe just as well..
We do not want to know or think about how all these stains on all carpets came to be and are surprised that they are not fixed (hello carpet cleaning -or why not change once a decade ..) . Unfortunately, we came here tired in the evening after twelve hours of travel and needed to sleep. So it was a bit late/difficult to find new accommodation at 11 pm when we found that it was the worst in 28 years that we ended up at. The guy at the front desk is the only bright spot-he agreed that room 1208 was too xxxyyy out and gave us keys to room 1205 -at least there wasn't condensation on the panes. We as asthmatics do not have much medical choice - we sleep with the window open. Maybe the mosquitoes in Sönderborg are happy about it? Never again!
