Beautiful area around the hotel with many trails to explore by MTB or foot. Rooms are so big, clean and nice, and the restaurant is magnificent.

Idyllic quiet hotel on the Teutoburg Forest

we were able to experience 7 wonderful days about a won bingo trip at the Freden inn. The quiet idyllic location on the Teutoburg Forest invites you to hikes and bike tours. The rooms are large, cozy and furnished with lots of charm. The 3-course menu with selection variants very varied tasty with products from the region. The staff very polite, friendly and caring. The sauna area generous, new. The relaxation area invites you to relax.
This hotel we really liked with its decor style, always fresh bouquets throughout the house, nice staff and quiet location.

Pleasant atmosphere, culinary delights and courteous, unobtrusive service - the perfect luxury for us.

We are very keen to travel and keep trying out new hotels and inns. The Gasthof zum Freden is the only hotel we have visited for the fifth time. It's our favorite hotel. We feel honestly welcome there every time. We usually book the package with half board and are always very impressed with the food offered. Everything is lovingly arranged. Tastes perfect and is served in just the right amount.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and always clean. The same applies to the sauna area.
The area around Bad Iburg offers numerous terratrails, which are very well signposted and invite you to hike between five and 15 km.
We recommended the Gasthaus zum Freden to many friends, and everyone was as enthusiastic as we were.

A superlative inn

We could not have imagined better the overnight stay in this country inn. The deluxe room a dream with bathtub and large couch area, lots of art, very comfortable bed, generous shower and separate toilet. Here I had the best and crispiest trout ever and the tastiest roll for breakfast. In addition, the very nice and motivated employees should be mentioned. All around a great discovery and the most stylish overnight stay on the whole 20-day bike tour. Even our bikes could safely stay overnight and refuel.

Hotel restaurant that leaves nothing to be desired

Great hotel and restaurant. We often eat here. Varied menu with deliciously prepared dishes. Game is also highly recommended. Beautifully designed dining rooms. Next to the restaurant there is a large hall that can be separated as required.
