Really great!

Don't be alarmed on arrival: the outside looks like some faded glory, but rooms are really excellent and breakfast lacks nothing! Very friendly and helpful staff. Luggage we could get rid of immediately after arriving by boat and we could still leave there on the last day in a room so we did not have to carry it around.
Sauna part is neat, but don't imagine too much of it. That's kind of aging kwa style, but clean. Can definitely recommend this hotel! There were three of us and the daughter had her own room with real bed (not such an additional bed) in the hotel room (family room). Ideal!

Location good that was it too.

We have occupied a double room and a suite. We were disappointed.
The location is excellent. Breakfast very good. The friendly staff, there is a lot of room up. A lady from the breakfast service was very friendly and always had a smile, while the rest of the staff was not even able to greet. The double room as well as shower was quite small. The equipment well, we expected something different for the price. When a room is offered with a country side, one means a courtyard and looks at building fronts and not the country. The suite was spacious but uncomfortable. The furniture was completely out of place and felt lost. The shower also very small. The shower head worn out. The bare metal was already looking through. In the living room the carpet is stained. On the wallpaper hung a long thread. The balcony probably hasn't been inspected for a long time. There were leaves on a chair. Plants spoiled in the two flower bins. There was still a lot to complain about. For what we found the room rate was overpriced, even at a discount granted.

Dream hotel

The Hotel Hohenzollern on Borkum is a real dream hotel! Nice and exclusive house, right on the beach, nice feel-good rooms, gigantic breakfast - we have never experienced and enjoyed anything like this ! Our room wa of dr size sufficient for us, the bathroom up to date. As I said, a dream hotel, which we gladly recommend.

Hotel with flair and fantastic cuisine.

Hotel with flair, good location on the beach, polite and competent staff, fantastic cuisine. Short walk to the nearby town center, beach chairs on the doorstep, quaint pubs on the beach. Perfect starting point for long hikes and bike tours.

14 wonderful days at the Strandhotel Hohenzollern on Borkum

The Strandhotel Hohenzollern is a very nice and well-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The suites are spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean!
The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired! We have never seen a breakfast buffet like this before. The boss personally made sure that the buffet was beautifully prepared after almost every guest.
The restaurant attached to it, where we ate every evening, is second to none. The cuisine is gourmet and of the finest quality! We felt pampered every evening.
It was a wonderful holiday on Borkum! The long journey from Switzerland was 100% worth it!
Thank you to the entire team at the Strandhotel Hohenzollern. We will never forget this holiday!
