Nice accommodation, but lacking a welcoming atmosphere

The accommodation was functional (with a door code instead of a reception), which worked fine. However, the only interaction we had with the owner was during breakfast, where we did not feel welcome and the atmosphere felt somewhat impersonal.
There was also some confusion about the cost for a child, which was communicated in an irritated manner at checkout. This made for an unpleasant ending to our stay, whereas a calm explanation could have easily resolved it.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Kachelberg. It was well run and comfortable. Our room was extremely well presented, very clean and with everything we could have wished for, including a small fridge. The food at breakfast was delicious and with a really good choice. There is an outside area with tables and chairs and we enjoyed a pleasant hour or two later one evening with fellow quests. We would definitely return to the hotel. As a bonus there was a lovely restaurant not more than 20 meters away.

Good hotel but avoid breakfast - rip off

Hotel was simple enough with everything we needed for a stop over close to the motorway.
Disappointing breakfast €25 for overcooked scrambled eggs, 1 small croissant or cereal with warm milk. Stay by all means but avoid the breakfast at all costs and save your money.

Not worth repeating

We had room 7, very small, fortunately the price too, hotel was closed at 6 pm, also no social space, so boring, fortunately the weather was nice, family unfriendly, room clean, view great, but never again, there was WiFi and parking free, not so.
