Very attractive restaurant with attentive, friendly staff and good food
sent me a group menu from which everyone could choose a dish in the morning. This meant that lunch went smoothly and quickly.
We only had 1 hour for the lunch break as we had our next appointment at Villa Hügel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our group was completely satisfied. The food was great.

Cold side dishes ( sauerkraut ) Mashed potatoes ( Maggi from the bag ),
Pig's neck (a pity a pig had to die for it) !!!
They shouldn't think
the view of Baldeney Lake would make up for it. Fallacy.

Unfortunately a disappointment, despite the great location!
Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 deluxe breakfasts we ordered were ordered (each around €40!). The third deluxe breakfast was added to one of the two plates after we asked. The selection was OK, a piece of Brie, Gouda, ham, salami, jam, scrambled eggs, salmon, bacon, fruit salad, organ juice.
Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for the food, which of course isn't bad if we had received it all.
For the scrambled eggs, 1 small bowl of bacon for 3 deluxe breakfasts?! We had to wait another 30 minutes and even then it was still incomplete. We had to keep asking for the breakfast items listed on the menu, which were then gradually served to us.
What was a bit cheeky for the price was the fruit salad. A small bowl (really very small bowl) for 2 people!
The ambience and location are really lovely, but we won't be coming again. For these prices I expect a full breakfast, as it says on the menu.
