Excellent restaurant with perfect steak

An all-round excellent experience. The steak was perfectly prepared – nicely fried on the outside, exactly as ordered on the inside. Quality of meat top, plus friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Érg prettige ervaring tijdens lang weekeinde in hotel Waldseiter hof Bad bentheim Juni 2025

For three days during the Pentecost weekend we were guests in this beautiful authentic farm called Waldseiter hof. Checking in went smoothly and we had booked a room together with our medium sized dog that was clean and fresh upon arrival, with the bedlinnen also smelling clean and fresh. Every afternoon we were surprised upon returning that the room had been vacuumed and the beds had been made again.
The bins were also clean and there were plenty of bath towels.
The meals that are prepared in the kitchen are of high class and you can see that the chef spends time on this. They still cook with love here!
I speak here as a food expert. The shower and bathroom in our room were very clean and well maintained with plenty of warm and cold water.
The hard-working staff were very motivated and helpful and up for a chat. Here no young disinterested staff of around 20 years old who do not know what to do, but just staff who want to work and enjoy giving guests a nice time in the hotel.
Our dog was very welcome and a water bowl was provided for our dog every time during breakfast and dinner without asking.
The staff does everything to make the guests feel at home at this unique location with beautifull garden and golf course, even when they're very, busy so i would like to give this hotel a big compliment as far as my wife and i are concerned! I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy the good for a good price. It;s for sure a place to come back again!

Mixed experience

One-night stay in this traditional farmhouse hotel. We liked the quiet location and the good bed, also the cleanliness. We agreed with the other reviews about the unfriendly restaurant staff, none of them seem to want to be there, let alone let you feel welcome. On a positive side, beautiful garden and very good breakfast, too.
