Beautiful weekend ❤️

For a weekend the break was planned, for us everything fit! Room with sea view, great breakfast & very nice staff.
Plus sunshine & the freezing Baltic Sea, what a beautiful natural spectacle ❤️

Great hotel with shortcomings

We experienced a total of 7 beautiful days with breakfast from 12-19.02.2026. On our arrival we unfortunately experienced a medium disaster. The key code for those arriving after 3pm did not work. At 2:55 p.m., no one was there. The hotel's emergency number was unavailable for an hour.

Unique holiday in a unique hotel in a unique landscape.

There's nothing wrong with this hotel. The location on the beach promenade in the somewhat quieter part of Ahlbeck is ideal, parking is available (for a fee) on the house. Bicycles can be safely stored. The hotel's own beach with its own beach chairs is only a few steps away. The beach, about 50 meters wide, is fine sandy and clean. Breakfast is awesome, everyone will find their favorite breakfast. About 10 types of sausage and cheese each, small salads, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fruit, beautiful bread and rolls make every morning a feast.
The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice bright, with a veranda. The whole hotel and the interior are lovingly renovated in the style of the period before the First World War.
Restaurants, cafes and bars are within walking distance. For the friend of good fish there are numerous possibilities, but also for lovers of other delicacies everything is available.
Usedom has many wonderful places that everyone can explore to their liking, whether by car, bicycle, footwear or by bus. The nearest stop of the bathing bus line (included in the tourist tax) is only about 100 meters away.

great location, poor service

We stayed in the apartment building opposite, which is part of the hotel. The accommodation was fine except the bed in the living room was a sofa bed, tiny and hard. Not big enough for two, particularly when one of them is 6 foot teenager! I asked for a mattress so that my other son could sleep on it and it was as if I had asked for the moon! Very grudgingly they agreed to provide one. We stayed 4 nights and no servicing of the apartment was done in all that time. We even had to ask for loo roll as we ran out. Compared to other apartments we have rented in Germany this one offered very poor value for money. As for the staff attitude- I am sorry to say that it has negatively influenced my son's view of German people. What a pity as we have had such lovely previous times.
Got to say my bboys found the underground car park fascinating!

Dear guest, I am afraid, you are rating a different Hotel rather than ours. Our Hotel is only located in 1 building. No other apartment-Building opposite or whereever exists!
Not so nice to give us a poor rating. Please be careful who you rate!!

Wunderbar ruhig und familiär geführtes kleines Haus, direkt am Strand mit einem sehr guten Frühstück und unglaublich freundlichem Personal.
