Great situation and very comfortable

The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof and ideally situated for walking into the city centre or catching a tram to other areas. Very comfortable and clean. Very helpful and welcoming staff and very good breakfasts..Free coffee and tea available at all times and a good bar. Air-conditioning works well in the bedrooms and common parts. Very good VFM.

Expensive but perfect location and the staff were amazingly helpful.

An expensive stay for a 2 day stay. Nice breakfast and staff. Very central. Parking available at 16 euros a night. Our room was small and had a shower cubicle in it with no privacy! An unusal design.

Location is great. When we were given our room key, we got into our room to find someone else’s belongings there. Wasn’t too much of an issue for us, just back down to reception and waiting another few mins for another room to be assigned, but there were valuable things in there and would I be happy that another customer was in my room whilst I was out? Definitely not. The room was clean and had everything basic you’d need. The shower is in the middle of the room next to the bed, so don’t book if you are going with someone you wouldn’t shower in front of. Breakfast was ok, just standard continental breakfast. I think it’s generally €50 per night an for that it’s probably worth the money. I paid €400 for 1 night as we were there to see the European cup final which is why I’m probably more negative. Expecting €400 worth of hotel when it’s just supply and demand. Decent for a budget hotel on a normal day.

Recommended hotel close to all the main attractions

The Travel24 is a very nice hotel located at the border of the old centre, very close to the main train station. I was here for a conference at the Zoo, which is less than a 5 minute walk. And the old centre starts across the main street in front of the hotel. They have both an indoor and outdoor parking space (€16 per say) which also feels very safe as it is shared with the police station. Rooms are super clean, but basic (no mini bar, no coffee machine, no other frills), yet with excellent value for money. Breakfast buffet is okay, not very extensive but fresh rolls, coffee, eggs etc. Staff is very friendly. Recommended for a visit to Leipzig.
