Bei Anreise wurde ein Mangel im Zimmer festgestellt. Wir haben daraufhin sofort ein kostenfreies Zimmer-Upgrade angeboten. Dieses Angebot wurde nicht angenommen. In der Folge wurde die Buchung vollständig kostenfrei storniert, es kam zu keiner Übernachtung und keiner Abrechnung.
Hinweise zum Zustand unserer Zimmer nehmen wir selbstverständlich ernst und prüfen diese intern. Gleichzeitig ist es uns wichtig, transparent darzustellen, dass in diesem Fall kein Aufenthalt stattgefunden hat und dem Gast mehrere kulante Lösungen angeboten wurden.
Wir bedauern, dass es dennoch zu einer negativen Wahrnehmung gekommen ist.

Better to check in elsewhere. Disgusting.
Already upon arrival, the room was in an extremely poor state of cleanliness. There were numerous hairs in the shower and toilet area. The entire room appeared unkempt and dirty. The room does not have air conditioning.
When we returned to the hotel around 11:00 PM, we noticed that the floor in front of the window was extensively wet, even though the window was closed and there had only been a brief rain shower. There was also noticeable dirt and mold on the window frame.
The ceiling light contained both larger and smaller dead insects. At no point did the impression of a thoroughly cleaned hotel room arise.
The low point followed the next morning: On my pillow lay a long gray hair. Additionally, both my pillow and my wife's were marked with old yellowish stains or stripes. This is absolutely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint.
The reaction at the reception was particularly disappointing. The staff member showed little understanding for the reported deficiencies. She could not or did not want to understand that we decided to leave a day earlier.
I even asked the staff member twice, in the presence of witnesses, whether this hotel actually has a valid 4-star classification. I received no answer to either question.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel due to the serious hygiene deficiencies and the uncustomer-oriented handling of legitimate criticism.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, even though English isn't their native tongue and our German is rudimentary at best.
The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful, but no evening meals available but the staff did direct us to a good local restaurant.
To give an idea of how much we enjoyed our stay, we've already booked to stop there on our way back to the UK.
