Beautiful rooms - top breakfast - friendly reception - fair prices

The hotel has been tastefully renovated, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious and very lovingly presented.

Excellent Property with Excellent Host

I stayed for 5 nights for a work trip. The room was a single with enough room for 1 person, it was clean and in great condition.
The host/owner (Thomas) was very attentive and was always there to offer a friendly good morning/good evening and anything I could require. I missed breakfast on my last day and he made me a bag to take on my way.

Nice room and good service

We stayed for one night on our way back from Italy to Denmark. The landlord was VERY kind and helpful and made us feel most welcome. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast (not included) was also fine.

Perfect pitstop

We stayed here one night on the way from Denmark to Italy. Close to highway, clean room, good facilities, amazing and incredibly helpful and kind host and staff. We will definately stay here next time we drive south. Highly recommend.

Excellent Restaurant

As Americans, we clearly spoke only English out initial waitress said just a moment - actually she said "bitte-wait" meaning please wait, and she went and retrieved the owner himself who spoke excellent English. He explained the items on the menu to us which was all in German, and gave us his recommendations. I had the Rinderkind Steak which was one of the best steaks I have ever had and my wife had the Cordon Bleu with pork and three cheeses, which was unbelievable. We had no room left for dessert! Thomas Schlabeck, the owner and operator, was warm, helpful and made our experience incredible. We were able to eat outside on the porch and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful evening. Our waitress was also very attentive and helpful. I cannot say enough good about the whole experience and cannot believe if you choose to eat here that you would ever be disappointed!
