Short vacation over Ascension Day

Short vacation in the Northern Black Forest with full board.
Very good cuisine! (Breakfast buffet, coffee & cake (super delicious!) and a good 4-course menu in the evening)
The wellness area is small, but okay.
(The indoor and outdoor pools are cool despite being heated)
The room (33) was large, but a bit disappointing knowing that there are renovated rooms available.
The bed, however, was comfortable.
No Wi-Fi / very weak network reception in the room. In the shower (bathtub), there was always a flood (poor sealing) and the hairdryer (low-power device) was unusable.
Fortunately, we brought our own hairdryer, as we had read this in other reviews.
The price-performance ratio is right, and with a renovated room, you definitely have a very good offer.

Everything top

Food very good. Your staff is very nice and friendly. In part, you would still have to practice smiling. In the spa it would have been nice if Saturday the saunas were in operation at noon at the latest.

I give the best rating for all categories: Rooms, cleanliness, wellness, spa area...
Very friendly and accommodating staff everywhere.
I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

relaxing wellness holiday

we spent wonderful, relaxing holidays in the Waldsawmill. great hikes followed by relaxation in the SPA / swimming area. The food was amazing!

10/10 hotel

Had a very pleasant stay at Waldsägmühle! The staff was excellent, the food was great and very cozy rooms. Felt like an authentic German experience, would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to get away for a few days and relax, enjoy a wonderful spa and who appreciates nature!
