Not 4 stars, room for improvement!
Unfortunately, I can only recommend this hotel with reservations. While there were also positive aspects, the negative impressions clearly outweighed for me.
The pool area was in a neglected state, which was attributed to a technical defect according to the notice posted. In my opinion, this condition has existed for a long time, as the overflow was also heavily contaminated with leaves and algae – so much so that excess water could no longer drain into the gutters, but instead flowed over them.
In particular, the steps were heavily infested with algae and slippery. During my entire four-day stay, this condition was not improved or only inadequately improved. There was only a pool vacuum permanently in the pool, which further detracted from the overall impression and limited swimming. Manual cleaning did not take place, although it would have been necessary, as the pool vacuum cannot adequately clean the walls or the steps.
The shower by the pool was also out of order, so only the shower in the wellness area could be used – however, it had an unpleasant smell of drainage.
The room also did not match the description. It was old, very noisy, and equipped with a narrow folding bed (about 90 cm) instead of the box spring bed (1.40 m) described on the website. A lighted mirror, as stated, was also missing. There was dust on the television and the phone; underneath was a closure cap from a previous guest, suggesting that the phone was not lifted for dusting.
Particularly disturbing was the location of the balcony: Directly adjacent was the only window of the neighboring room, allowing both visibility and theoretically access – a clear minus in terms of privacy. This was certainly uncomfortable for my neighbor as well, as someone could constantly look into his room. However, in summer temperatures, it is necessary to open windows and curtains to ventilate adequately. As a woman, I find it unacceptable to not feel safe leaving the window open at night when daytime temperatures exceed 30 degrees.
In response to my inquiry about changing rooms, I was only offered a change for the last night or a different category for an additional charge – supposedly everything was fully booked. In my opinion, however, the hotel was not fully occupied. We could not confirm the announced large group. To our surprise, the salad buffet was canceled the next day due to too few guests being present.
There were also some deficiencies in the bathroom. The shower lever was stiff, the tiles had damaged grout, and upon arrival, there were still foreign body hairs in the shower tray. The restroom was also very dark.
The Wi-Fi had an unstable connection; there was no reception at all in the garden.
However, it is worth highlighting the good food and the truly friendly staff, who were always attentive and helpful – for this, a big compliment is deserved. The reception area, dining room, and terrace are also very well designed and modern.
Overall, there is a clear need for improvement here, especially in the areas of cleanliness, maintenance, and alignment with the room description.

Umso mehr bedauern wir, dass andere Bereiche Ihres Aufenthalts nicht Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen haben.
Während Ihres Aufenthalts lag am Außenpool leider ein technischer Defekt vor, über den wir auch mit einem Aushang direkt am Pool informiert hatten. Da zunächst ein passendes Ersatzteil bestellt werden musste, konnte die Ursache leider nicht innerhalb weniger Tage vollständig behoben werden. Dadurch kam es auch zu den von Ihnen beschriebenen optischen Beeinträchtigungen. Die Wasserqualität wurde selbstverständlich regelmäßig kontrolliert und war zu keiner Zeit beeinträchtigt – andernfalls hätten wir den Pool umgehend geschlossen. Dennoch verstehen wir, dass der sichtbare Zustand für Sie enttäuschend war.
Bezüglich Ihres Zimmerwunsches möchten wir ergänzen, dass während Ihres Aufenthalts eine Gruppe insgesamt 16 Zimmer für zwei Nächte belegt hatte. Da die Gäste tagsüber geschäftlich unterwegs waren, war dies im Haus möglicherweise kaum wahrnehmbar. Tatsächlich standen deshalb jedoch keine weiteren Zimmer innerhalb Ihrer gebuchten Kategorie zur Verfügung. Wir konnten Ihnen lediglich noch ein Zimmer einer höheren Kategorie gegen Aufpreis beziehungsweise für die letzte Nacht einen Wechsel anbieten.
Auch der Salatgang ist nicht entfallen. Bei einer größeren Anzahl an Gästen mit gebuchter ¾-Verwöhnpension bieten wir die Salatauswahl als Buffet an. Bei weniger Gästen servieren wir den Salat direkt am Tisch. Für À-la-carte-Gäste ist dieser nicht automatisch im Menü enthalten.
Unser WLAN steht in den Zimmern und in den öffentlichen Innenbereichen zur Verfügung. Im Garten und in weiteren Außenbereichen besteht derzeit keine vollständige Abdeckung. Nach längerer Inaktivität kann zudem eine erneute Anmeldung erforderlich sein.
Die von Ihnen angesprochenen Punkte zur Zimmerreinigung, zu den Haaren in der Dusche, zum Staub und zum Geruch im Wellnessbereich entsprechen selbstverständlich nicht unserem Anspruch. Diese Hinweise haben wir mit den verantwortlichen Abteilungen besprochen und zum Anlass genommen, unsere Kontrollen nochmals zu überprüfen.

Short time out - well done
I just wanted to do a short stay in a wellness hotel. That's how I got to Antoniushof via the Internet. A great hotel, Service and staff are absolutely great. Oh, hell.
You will be greeted by the name after reading a name tag and besides the Service is sometimes a little fun or a tip for a trip.
Everything just warm, open, friendly and not put on. Just honestly. Toll.
The rooms are large enough. I had double rooms for single use. Riesig. With bathtub and shower and then separate toilet and balcony.
The beds are very comfortable and you can even order pillows. For example: Side sleepers or neck pillows. Top.
The food was also very delicious. Counting calories should be avoided because otherwise you will miss the best.
I had also booked an application. The massage was soothing and the staff knew what she was doing. You have also filled out a small questionnaire beforehand to see if there are diseases or similar. Very thoughtful.
The wellness area is good, unfortunately a bit older, but is already working on it. Which I think is great. The garden is also an oasis of recreation. Praise to the gardener.
All in all, it was a great time and you can immediately switch off and just relax. Thanks for that.

Excellent hotel
We were passing through and stayed here 1 night. You can park there smoothly and safely no problem. The welcome was friendly and we were given a tour and welcome drink.
We were able to swim and relax. The lunch and dinner were super tasty, we were at ease. Breakfast is complete and squatting prohibited, very tasty.
The room we had was a bit outdated, but everything was there except air conditioning. Please note that the room is warm at night.

A dream
Title: A feel-good place for body and soul – perfect break for couples

We (my partner and I) spent an extended weekend at Hotel Antoniushof – and it was an absolute dream from start to finish! Already on arrival we were warmly welcomed, and you can immediately feel the family atmosphere of this house. It is impressive how lovingly and personally everything is managed here – you just feel welcome.
Our room (double room open space) was very spacious, stylishly decorated and had a balcony with a view of the countryside – just perfect for switching off. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed wonderfully comfortable.
However, the absolute highlight was the wellness area: The GartenSpa is a small oasis with various saunas, an indoor and outdoor pool and lovingly designed relaxation zones. We really enjoyed the treatments – especially the chakra massage was an experience! You can see that people work here with a lot of competence and heart.
Culinarily, too, nothing was left to be desired. The 3⁄4 board was worth every cent – from a rich breakfast to homemade cakes and an excellent 4-course dinner in the evening. The regional cuisine with modern touches has delighted us, and the Service was always friendly and attentive.
We also found the many small details particularly beautiful: the yoga lesson in the morning, the e-bike rental for our bike tours in the surrounding nature and the beautiful hotel garden.
We are fully recovered and left with many beautiful impressions – and will definitely come back. Antoniushof is a real gem in Lower Bavaria for couples looking for relaxation, enjoyment and personal attention.
