Nice hotel and stop for our holiday.

We user Hotel Tannenhof for our stop to and from our holiday in Italy. It's just a couple of minutes from the Suisse border. They have a great breakfast, value for money. The rooms are nice and spacious. Parking is free and in front of the hotel. There is a small shopping area with convenience stores right around the corner and the authentic centre of Steinen is about 7 minutes walking distance. For dinner you can join the Italian restaurant that's located at the hotel. They Serve great food for a fair price and the service is fabulous.

Convenient stop on the way South

We have tried various hotels in this area when travelling down to Italy. This one is very convenient when coming down past Karlsruhe, and also for picking up the Swiss motorway the next day. (You can get a Swiss Vignette at the nearby filling station). It's not an outstanding hotel but it's clean, fairly quiet (a gentle buzz from the nearby main road) and offers a good welcome and a good breakfast. The lady proprietor is friendly and helpful and the price reasonable. The little town of Steinen is within easy walking distance on the other side of the main road and has restaurants and shops. This may be the one we settle on.

Small and nice hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay a lot. Room was clean and large enough, beds were very comfortable, bathroom with shower was also ok. Free parking site right in front of the door. Although the main road is nearby, we didn't hear the traffic at night and slept very well. The lady from the reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also very good and comprehensive. We would like to recommend this hotel. PS: If you stay there don't miss to go to the Italian restaurant right next door and enjoy a real good dinner!

Nice and relax hotel

Nice hotel situated in a small town near Lorrach. The room are ok, quite clean. There is a parking site just in front of the hotel, good breakfast and free wifi internet.
Price is quite reasonable, very good staff !

Hotel jederzeit wieder

Geräumiges Zimmer und Bad. Sauber. Kein Safe. Für einen Zwischenstopp jederzeit wieder. Parkplatz vorhanden. Frühstück gut und reichlich. In wenigen Metern Entfernung das dazugehörende Restaurant ist mittelmäßig. Steak mit Pfifferlingen (27€) war zum Teil sehnig und die Pfifferlinge zu fest. Beilage Spätzle zu fettig.
