Ugh no fridge!

Nice location and nice staff. Excellent breakfast. One annoying thing is there is full non functional kitchen in the room. No hot water can cooker, refrigerator with no electric, no cups, or utensils. The breakfast is good but you will have nothing in your room. WIFI is very slow.

Disappointed

The room was clean and breakfast was good. Wengen is a charming place.
The restaurant was not open in the evening. There is no reception and we had to ring the door bell on arrival.
The proprietor was less than helpful when we tried to check out.

Excellent stay

We stayed at the hotel as part of a football visit to Dortmund. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms and showers excellent. The breakfast was a very good continental style feast. The owner couldn't do enough to help us find our way around. All three of us agreed that we would go back, which is the biggest compliment I can give.

Wir waren soo enttäuscht- wir waren vor 11 Jahren schon einmal hier! Aber diese unfreundliche Begrüssung hatten wir nicht erwartet. Wir waren mit Freunden hier und ein Teil der Zimmer waren eine Katastrophe: Schimmel, Schmutz ,einfach nicht bewohnbar! Auch dieser geringe Preisnachlass entschuldigt nichts, - sehr schade für ein Hotel, dass Tradition hat!

Hotel muß dringend renoviert werden

Auf dem RuhrtalRadweg waren wir im Hotel Henriette Davidis in einer dringend renovierungsbedürftigen Dachkammer untergebracht. Die Tapete löste sich von der Decke und teilweise von den Wänden. Im Raum befand sich noch ein Fliesenspiegel von einer ehemaligen Küchenzeile. Die Naßzelle (Bad) war ca. 3 qm klein. Für Waschbecken, Dusche und Toilette war gerade noch Platz. Die beiden Dachflächenfenster waren schon lange nicht mehr gereinigt worden. Die Rezepzion war um 15.00Uhr nicht besetzt. Auf der angegebene Festnetznr. war niemand zu erreichen.Eine Handynr. gab es nicht. Wegen der Nichtbesetzung des Hotels war auch der Gepäcktransfer nicht möglich. Das Gepäck war in einem benachbarten Restaurant abgegeben worden. Insgesamt Mangelhaft!
