Good budget hotel

Positives:
- The receptionist was quick to give us the room.
- Room size was good, beds' sizes were also fine, I was able to fit.
- The cooling of the AC was good.
- There were free half-liter water bottles available in the room, one per person.
- Washroom size was good and drainage was working fine.
- Soundproofing of the room was poor but due to the location of the room, we didn't hear much noise thus we had a peaceful sleep.
- We could easily make the room dark enough, to sleep in the daytime.
- The hotel looked clean as per budget hotels standards.
- We didn't have to wait much for the lifts, even in the peak times.
- You can find free parking near-by or across the street.
- Utility stores and many restaurants were available near the hotel
Negatives:
- Masjid e Nabwi is far, from the hotel to prayer area is almost 1.5km.
- The fridge was making some noise but it didn't disturb us during our sleep.
- AC remote controller was not available in the room, we were able to get one the next day, after 4 requests.
- The key of the room stopped working the next day without any notification. We had to visit the reception to get it renewed.

Poor amenities

Well, you get what you pay for. The hotel is more like a 2* hotel. It’s clean but the amenities are below average. The bathroom was ok, but the toilet cover was broken and shower drain got blocked. WiFi is only available at the reception. Receptionist were friendly although looked tired as it was the peak season in the end of December. The hotel is quite far from the Prophet’s Mosque (around 20 minutes walk), the surrounding area is in poor condition. It’s a good choice if planning to spend the whole time outside. I’d rather pick another hotel the next time I go to Medina

Not good & Not Bad

This is a budgetary hotel. I will give pints out of 5 which I suppose it would help for each item below
Rate : Appx 100 to 150 at unseason
Spacious : I would rate 3
Cleanliness: 2, there is a bad smell at each floor
Distance from prophet mosque: 25mins away, hot season its a burden but in winter it's pleasent
Staffs: 1. Very rude, don't expect much from them. You have to try to adjust
Surroundings: 3. Market place with a nice hyderabadi restaurant
Parking: underground parking available.
Overall I would rate 2. Not for family but I would suggest for bachelor's only.
I wish you a nice trip and remember me in your prayers

Hotel needs an upgrade

The hotel is situated 20mins walk away from haram. The closest entry gate is gate 15.The hotel is an average hotel with no modern amenities .Not value for money.Only plus point is that lots of food joints around the area.

average accomodation at a quiet place.

this hotel is located at about 25 minutes walk from the Haram, going out gate # 13. the room was of good size(as compared to some of the hotels located closer to the Haram). the bed was average quality; I could feel the springs in the mattress; there were water droplets misting out of the a/c unit above the bed. for the price of $66 a night, it was ok and affordable.
Between the Haram and this hotel , there are lots of good restaurants which are much cheaper than those close by(for ex: those across from gate 25). For SR9 I could get nice curry and two wheat tandoori rotis at a Pakistani restaurant.
there is no need for any taxi , etc, you can walk the distance in about 22-25 minutes at average walking speed.
the people at the hotel were good and nice. I had to pay the full stay price right away, so carry enough money before going to the hotel.
