Great hostel
I stayed here in this hostel recently for two nights. I really enjoyed my stay, great location and I loved the interior decor and the place was really clean. I met the owner Pedro and he was super friendly and we spoke for a good half n hour, he gave me good tips on what to do and see. I definitely would stay again and Rosario is also a lovely city to stay a few days.

THEY DO NOT RESPECT THE GUESTS
I am completely disgusted with the situation I just experienced with this hostel! I made a reservation over a month in advance, planned my entire trip around it, and a week before leaving, they cancel for no good reason! It is unacceptable! Don't they understand the meaning of commitment? Or do they just not give a damn about ruining their guests' plans? What a lack of professionalism and consideration on the part of this establishment! Not only have they ruined my plans, but they have also left me in a difficult situation to find last minute accommodation. I will never consider this place again and will do my best to warn other travelers about their lack of reliability and respect for their customers! I hope they take steps to improve their service and prevent others from going through the same thing as me! What a total disappointment!

Worst hostel in 6 months travelling
This is the worst hostel we have encountered in the 6 months we have been travelling in SA!
We payed $30 usd for a double room which we got, then at 9:30pm we got told we had to leave as we were in the wrong room and move into a twin room with 2 beds as someone else was waiting to move into our room! We showed them that our booking.com reservation was for a double bed but they insisted it wasnt and we had to move.
There was no water at all for a shower that night either, not even the taps were working and when I told reception I was told that I had to wait for the water tanks on the roof to fill up!
There was a bbq (we werent invited) music and loud talking in the coutyard till gone 1am, the room was cold and damp, there was no duvet so I was cold all night.
In the morning 'breakfast' was advertised as 8-10 but at 9am we were greeted with some hacked up pieces of bread with jam jars next to them, an almost empty tiny bowl of cornflakes which was to share and an empty filter coffee pot.
To top it all off we were asked to pay in cash despite having already payed the full amount in our online reservation!

Hippie Hostel
The volunteers workung in the hotel for bed and breakfast are young diverse open and friendly we spoke french german portugese spanish and english with guests and volunteers and had a good time.
The rooms and bathrooms are very basic, however that goes for the price ad well. If atmosphere and nostalgy is important this is your thing if you want tidy rooms and modern fresh showers it is not your place

The drug pit
Ok we booked this place because it was cheap, so i didn't expect too much, but I don't expect to get asked to move out of our room because they have booked someone else into it because they came to ask for a matrimonial and we only booked a double? what? so the greatest impression is not established when this happens and you have already been in your room for a few hours. Apparently it's their booking system that messed up....
Fine, the room were moved too is just as dank and dire as the first. Just a hassle packing your pack again. So we cook food in the kitchen that has your usual worn out cutlery but no way of lighting the burners without your own matches or asking the now drug smoking hostel workers if you can use their lighter.
This kind of hostel I know will appeal to some, but if your not in the market for stoner zombie shuffling throughout the common areas with music playing in the forecourt, that is surrounded by the rooms, until 3 in the morning.....id quickly start looking at another hostel.
So we made it through the night with no obvious signs of emphysema from the damp dank pit room to get up early and out of this place, I thought I would at least get some breakfast.....or maybe NOT!
I had a choice of a small bowl of frosted, some very poor looking bread and hopefully a cup of coffee? no they ran out.
I have only been to one hostel that is worse, that was a flea infested Cockroache pit in Peru....at least this is only the second worst hey?
