Everything is Considered - A Hidden Gem

What a hidden gem… we almost don’t want to share this secret with anyone else, but our host Deirdre was so wonderful she deserves this review.
Blossom Lodge is one of three ‘rooms’ available in the grounds of their home, with spectacular views of the lake. EVERYTHING is considered in their lodges… and we mean everything. From lighting all the way down the path to your room, to pretty much every toiletry you can think of, to homemade jam in the fridge.
The accommodation is perfectly clean, with contemporary, inviting decor and space to move and enjoy the accomodation and terrace view outside (with table and chairs.)
There is nothing really we would change and would definitely return here again, if we are ever back in the area.

PS the town is bigger than we expected and can recommend the Castle Hotel for excellent and reasonably priced food.

Absolutely fantastic!

Absolutely amazing stay! Gorgeous rooms, especially the bunny lamps absolutely adorable!!
Deirdre and Tom made sure we had everything we need absolutely amazing hosts!
Genuinely could not recommend the lodges enough, felt like a home away from home!
Returning again soon and it cannot come quick enough!

THE BEST ACCOMMODATION IN IRELAND

As a trained an experienced hotel and restaurant manager in the upper and luxury services I can assure Deirdre, our host, has a more profound hospitality sense than many fellow hoteliers, offering a more welcoming and full service experience that some 5 and 5 GL hotels. It was, out of four different similar accommodations we profit from in Ireland, the very best and a surprise if valuing quality vs price.
