Stylish hotel Central Dublin
The hotel is easy to find off the Dublin Express & is just a short walk & across the bridge
We arrived around 10:30am & a room was ready The Receptionist was friendly & efficient
The room was very clean & stylish but quite small We were there for 2 nights
Reception & bar areas celebrate Dublin & their authors & landmarks The bar staff were friendly & brought our drinks to us We couldn’t fault any staff All very helpful & pleasant
The hotel is in an excellent location We walked everywhere but there is a tram outside Plenty of bars & restaurants & just a short walk to Temple Bar
I have taken 1 star off due to the size of the room compared to the cost There is shower gel & hand wash only No other toiletries or bottled water although you can ask at the bar. Also the air con panel was flashing in the middle of the night It had stopped by morning so I didn’t report it but it happened again the next night The Smart tv is very temperamental.
I would recommend this hotel & the lovely staff

Great hotel
Brilliant hotel in a great location. We can't comment on food and drink as we were too busy exploring. Would return again.

Great location - Dublin City Center
We spent two different times at his location during a one-week stay in Ireland (interrupted by a couple of nights in Cork). The location is absolutely perfect: close to a grocery store, a self-service laundromat that we used, the tram, and it's only a 5-min walk to the Temple Bar area (and a lot of other main attractions). Staff at check in counter let us check into our room 3 hours early, which was greatly appreciated arriving on a mid-morning flight from the US. The rooms are on the smaller side with limited amenities but very clean. We faced the busy street/ pedestrian area towards the Ha'penny Bridge but due to their soundproof windows, never thought the noise was terrible. You receive a free bottle of water upon check-in which was a lovely gesture and greatly appreciated. Lobby and bar area are inviting, breakfast was plentiful, however some of the seating was more "living room" style and not very comfortable for eating breakfast - but this was minor and would not stop us from coming back. Great location for a decent price!

My family of 4 is stayed at MotelOne Dublin in 2 separate rooms during an Irish heatwave. We arrived in the afternoon and quickly checked in. Because we were in a hurry to return our rental car and find dinner we did not notice that the air conditioning was not working properly in either room. By not working properly, I mean that it was blowing hot air, and the thermostat would throw an error message. Since we were on the 4th floor and it was a very warm day today, the temperature in our room is about 80 degrees. When I asked the front desk for assistance, they said there was nothing they could do because they do not have maintenance on staff in the evening and the hotel was full. This is our second time staying here during this trip, but this is the first time they had oscillating fans on the shelves in the rooms. In my opinion, they knew the AC was broken in both rooms when they checked us in. I said that to the night manager and he did not deny it and simply said, “I am sorry. There is nothing I can do.” This is not an inexpensive hotel, and they are boasting that they provide rooms with AC. If that is something you are looking for, go elsewhere.

Extremely Rude and Unwelcoming Service
Very disappointing experience. I ordered a glass of wine, it arrived, and I sat down after paying for it. About an hour later, a waiter came over and told me that I was only allowed to sit there for one hour.
I even asked for some water, but they didn’t want to provide it and simply told me that I had one hour and shouldn’t waste it.
I understand that restaurants and hotels can have seating policies, but the way this was communicated was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I had already ordered and paid for my drink, so I expected a much more respectful approach. Definitely not the kind of service I would expect from a hotel.
I even asked for some water, but they didn’t want to provide it and simply told me that I had one hour and shouldn’t waste it.
