Wonderful!!
The Oscar Wilde room at The Merchant House was better than expectations. Beautiful room, wonderful location and seamless checkin/checkout. Security features made us feel very safe. Bed and furnishings were very comfortable.

No access and no response
Terrible service. No answer at the door, doorbell doesn't ring, no information at door or in emails, no answer on the phone, no reply to emails or messages. They have left us stranded in Dublin with no where to stay. Terrible service all round.

After reviewing our records, we could not find any reservation under the name Graeme Barrow. We have also confirmed that all guests who checked in yesterday and today successfully received their access codes and check-in information.
Please note that access codes are sent on the day of arrival once a reservation has been fully paid for, at which point the booking is secured and ready for check-in. We also always confirm check-in instructions with our guests before arrival. If a reservation has not been paid, it is not secured and access details cannot be issued.
As we have no reservation under your name, we are unable to verify the circumstances described in your review. For this reason, we believe there may have been a misunderstanding or that the review was intended for a different property.

Don't stay here, just hand your money over if you want robbed
Stayed last year and was so happy with the experience especially for the price. We booked again for the end of November but had to cancel. At the same time they took the money for our room. They told us that we would be getting a refund within 14 days.
Its June and we are still waiting.
I have phoned continuously (this seems to go through to a mobile, a man answers and tells you to leave a message) and emailed lots of time. There is no face to face encounter at all when you are staying here.
We are taking this further to get our money back
