Very nice efficiency apartment, located at a very convenient location for local shops, restaurants, grocery store, and excursion/bus pickups (Hallgrimskirkja church bus stop).
The way the rooms were numbered was a little confusing so signage could be better (for example, rooms 201 and 202 are on the second floor, but when you get to the second floor the rooms start with 23, 24, etc so it is very easy to feel like you are in he wrong place to find your room unless you go all the way down the hall) .
The rooms have a microwave, hot plate, mini fridge including small freezer compartment, french press, electric kettle, and Nespresso machine. Pretty much everything you need. The shower is small but you make it work.
When staff were on site cleaning rooms they were friendly and helpful.
I have no complaints except the price, but I know that the cost of all lodging across Reykjavik was increased during my stay because of the eclipse and increased tourist
Traffic. I feel like I had good value for what I got here and very much recommend staying here! A good happy medium between a hostel and a fancy hotel.

Expensive for this offering, very small room dirty bed linen poor breakfast and pillow was for children's room

Do NOT recommend Daydream L23
This place was a nightmare. Starting with "self check in". One key pad on the outside door releases the lock with the pin number for entry. There's another key pad outside your room with an additional pin number. Since the front door was electronic release, it's safe to assume it will work for the inner door...nope. So you're at the mercy of texting people you'll never see your entire stay! And we got varying advice. Put in correct pin, press the # sign after pin (there was no pound sign) etc. For a half hour of struggling to access the room, not one of the "staff" offered to come help. We were instructed to go to a different lock box to obtain a duplicate key. There was no key, only a fob. FINALLY someone explains the pin pad opens to reveal the key! Couldn't they have started with that? No instructions for wifi, obtaining towels, trash disposal. The whole thing is DIY. You will never see staff there. We had to ask for everything every step of the way. Breakfast was supposed to arrive daily, it didn't. The morning after we complained 5 breakfasts were left...there was only 2 of us. The tiles to the bathroom (room 38) were broken and loose, a fall hazard. The hallways looked like they hadn't seen a vacuum in weeks. Over priced, not consumer friendly. Do NOT recommend.

The location was absolutely perfect. In great walking distance of everything we needed and wanted to see.
The communication with the host was incredible. Any little thing we needed they responded very timely.

Great location, just a 2 minute walk to the church, which is stop #8 to be picked up for tours. It is very convenient to walk around downtown and several restaurants nearby. The room is small as described, but it was okay. Staff was always very responsive and let me do early check-in. There’s storage and an elevator in the building. Would definitely stay there again if I come back.
