Beyond expectation

It was excellent beyond expectations. Direct beach, attentive service. Our room on the 4st floor was clean, with a large sea view balcony. Good kitchen, children's and adults' pool. Beach bars. The sea is pleasantly warm, sandy beach. In the pre-season quiet with french animation until 11 pm.

THE PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL BUT THE REALITY...

Hello
If you can go somewhere other than Golem (North or South of the country), do it!
Hotel with industrial dimensions, chaos during meals, you're practically getting stepped on,
- Mediocre catering: always the same, you can't call it cooked meals, it's "mass" food made to please the greatest number of people,
- Only 1 elevator as fast as a snail for several hundred rooms,
- Nice pool though,
- Large room with "Albanian-style" AC, sanitary problems sometimes also not resolved after a week,
- Environment to avoid: streets littered with trash a few meters away, ugly beach,
Little tourist interest in the surroundings: BERAT not bad, KRUJE, avoid it, nothing to see except a few ruins and a long street named the souk, lined with mostly Asian trinkets,

PS: tip, avoid using the phone if you don't have a special plan, otherwise 60 EUR in connection fees, I tested it!
Forget ATM withdrawals or other, overcharged,
Exchange with cash (or credit card in Tirana) at the dedicated office located 200m away when exiting on the left side,

Bad experience

I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get a good night’s sleep. Every evening, the hotel hosts a techno party on the rooftop with extremely loud music. The picture frames in the room literally shake, and even around midnight the staff refuse to turn the music down, despite the fact that there are only a handful of people at the rooftop bar. To make matters worse, the rooftop party is combined with another loud event taking place downstairs as part of the hotel’s entertainment program.
Another major disappointment was the communication with the Čedok tour representative, Tomáš Andrejčák. During the welcome meeting, he seemed interested only in selling optional excursions and showed no concern for guests’ complaints. When we tried to discuss the issues we were experiencing, his response was, “I don’t have time for this, I have another meeting,” and he simply walked away.
The food was decent overall, although there was no allergen information provided. The hotel itself was clean, and I have no complaints about the housekeeping. Unfortunately, these positives were outweighed by the overall experience, which was very disappointing. I would not choose this hotel again.

Beautiful structure, but the arrogance of the staff at the sunbeds is unacceptable

We just returned from a stay at this hotel; overall, the experience was very positive. The structure is well-maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the quality of the food at the restaurant is truly remarkable. However, there is an unpleasant aspect that prevents us from giving the highest score, which is related to the management of the beach. The gentleman in charge of arranging and cleaning the sunbeds has proven to be extremely arrogant and unprofessional on several occasions. As if that weren't enough, his unpleasant attitude justified his superb manners by stating that his son-in-law is the hotel manager. Such behavior risks ruining the excellent work done by everyone else.

A wonderful hotel just a skip across to the beach with the pool situated at the front of the property for maximum sunshine!! Areas of the hotel were still ‘work in progress’ I.e fittings for the heated towel rail installed but no towel rail. Coving around the lift yet to be fixed and roof top bar getting ready for the season! This did not diminish our enjoyment of the hotel and the staff were attentive, polite, friendly and very service focused. From housekeeping to bar, beach bar to reception the service was fantastic. We will go again because of the service, food location and the beach!
