Best hostel in India

Madpackers Jodhpur was our best hostel in India. The staff is super welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are big, beds super comfortable and AC not too cold. The common space is cozy and there is a great vibe in this hostel!

Absolutely filthy

We went here after reading such good reviews and in need of some rest-bite after having it rough.sadly when we got there it was filthy. When I spoke to the owner he told me it was the sand from being near the desert. Did that account for the kitchen being covered in filth and food stains and every time I touch any handle or anything it was sticky with dirt. We have been roughing it but we were shocked at how disgusting and dirty it was.:( We had to wash everything in the room and when we did the cloth was black. The room is sealed and has no access to outside. The mirror was so dirty I could barely see my face give this place a miss.
The guy who owns it walks around in a outfit that looks like it hasn't been washed in a fair while coughing and hacking in the kitchen. He was a nice guy but when the owner looks like he hasn't washed for few days it doesn't make you feel particularly confident in the rest of the hostel. I think he is running it since 3 months ago when it was handed over from his son.
The design of place is lovely. Modern and slick but it looks like no can maintain it sadly.

Amazing hostel

Me and my friend stayed for three nights in madpackers. It was by far the best hostel we'd stayed in! The place was new and modern, clean and had all needed facilities. The atmosfear was relaxed and very inviting. You felt at home directly. All staff were very helpful and caring. Would recommend for everyone to go there!
We also went in a culture safari with one of the staff, Baddo. It was really interesting and you got a lot for your money!

Modern hostel with great staff

The dorm rooms were very clean and spacious with ensuite bathroom. The communal area was great and really made this hostel! There was a large kitchen, seating area and balcony which was great for socialising and had Xbox and Netflix for those wanting to chill. The guy running the hostel was really friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend!

Nik and Ankur are Grade A guys - great shower. Good vibes.

Okay, there are a lot of good hostels out there. Madpackers Jodphur is a great one. And what separates Madpackers Jodphur are Ankur and Nick, two of their superstar staff. They both strike the perfect balance of making themselves a most helpful servant of travelers and becoming your friend. They'll hang with you, book tours book buses, make you masala chai, and get to know you. They'll even dance with you. Grade A people Nick and Ankur are. Book here and make good friends! Oh, and this madpackers as THE BEST SHOWER in India I've had.
