Excellent Stay

Enjoyed the stay . Nice hotel with nice ambience and staff. Front Desk very helpful. Rooms size and decor perfect. Complete Breakfast spread both Indian & American . Location excellent with easy access to tourist attractions. Planning to visit again soon.

Terribly Maintained

Classification case of a great location but badly maintained hotel, quite common across the Kolkata. These places charge you upwards of 3-4k for tiny damaged rooms, with dirty switches & broken flooring or windows.
They need to clean the place properly. Very low hygiene standards overall. Food is very average too. Don't waste your time and money here.

It was a trip to remember cous of the ambitious atmosphere and I would come back by any chace

Great stay at Metropole

My husband and I stayed at Metropole in the first week of March 2025 . Would love express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the hotel . Location is very good .The staff in the reception , house keeping , in house restaurant and security - all were extremely helpful and friendly . I would like to appreciate specially Miss Riju from the Reception who tries her best to make the customers happy . She has a very positive vibes . Thank you to all the staff members of the hotel to have made our stay a memorable and comfortable .
