Stay in Quality inn viha

To attend a marriage in Mayiladuthurai I was looking for stay near Mayiladuthurai but all the hotel rooms were sold out as it happened to be a muhurtham day. So my son from Canada booked this hotel in kumbakonam as it's the near by city on line and the tariff was Rs 6090 including taxes. Though a little bit at higher side he booked it as no other option was available.
The hotel was nice with underground carparking ,dormitory for drivers. The room was spacious a sofaset, study table and TV. Ac was working good and seeing all these I boosted up myself to my wife. See how is it as kumbakonam is also my native place. My wife with a grin said rooms are nice but the quality of star hotel is missing. I was little bit disappointed but I asked her to explain.
She said 1. In bathroom 2 bathtowel are there but only one toothbrush kit. What am I to do. 2. TV is there fine but remote is not working. 3. Intercom is there but the handle and wire are separated.4. dry bathroom is there but only shower selector is working and the tap is not. I checked and I have to accept it. As I have to visit temples early morning I didn't report it to the reception but I was wondering how the women are having different observations and views. Any how stay was nice

Overcharged Price & Poor Billing Coordination

The price charged was higher than the amount committed over the phone at the time of booking. I request the management to ensure that all staff are properly aligned on the agreed pricing, so there is no discrepancy during billing.
We also hardly stayed at the hotel for 10 hours, so the overall experience was disappointing considering the price charged.
