Good Staff, Basic Stay – But Nowhere Near a 5-Star or ₹6500 Value
We stayed at Caligo Resort for 2 nights and 3 days, attracted by the glowing 5-star tag on MakeMyTrip. But after the stay, one thing is clear — this is NOT a 5-star property, and certainly not worth ₹6500 per night. At best, it offers a 3-star experience, and should be priced around ₹3000-4000 per night, max.
The room was clean and spacious, and the pool was a plus. But reaching the resort was an adventure in itself — no proper roads, and it’s located deep inside an isolated area.
Now the food situation — breakfast isn’t even prepared on-site! It’s brought from outside, and you get just idli and medu vada — that’s it. No dosa, no toast, and the toaster was just part of the décor.
Dinner was relatively better, and thankfully, made at the resort.
Also, don’t expect food delivery apps to help you. Swiggy and Zomato are unreliable here — they might show up, or they might ghost you. So, it’s strongly advised to carry your own ready-to-eat meals.
The only saving grace was the staff — genuinely polite and helpful. Their efforts stood out and made the stay somewhat pleasant.
The property is new, and has potential with some improvements. But right now, it's being over-marketed and overpriced. The current MMT listing as a 5* is completely misleading.
Verdict: If you're paying ₹6500 a night expecting a luxury experience, you're in for a surprise. Go only if you're okay with basic amenities, zero road access, and limited food options. Not worth the price tag — and definitely not a 5-star stay.

Luxurious stay
Amazing hospitality, spacious luxury room, nice service by Nikshep And team, room has a hill view and well maintained swimming, delicious breakfast we got , they planbed Itenary for us as well, felt like a perfect vacation. We stayed for 2 days with family

Nice Experience, But Lacked Integrity
I was impressed with their service; the staff were very polite and caring. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a beautiful ambiance. However, the management lacked integrity in some areas. For example, I was promised 24-hour access to the swimming pool, but it was only available an hour before my checkout time. When I requested a discount due to this service failure, it was not considered. Additionally, I was not provided with a receipt for my payment. Although they assured me they would send it later, they never followed through.
