One of the nice hotels in the town!

The hotel is right on the action street i.e. on the main road of the town. There's a problem of getting into it because of the location and too many rixas around but once in the room, you would feel the comfort. The cleanliness is really good and rooms are nice.

Terrible - don't book a room here

I booked a room from yatra.com - I reached hotel in the morning and my problems started. Even though, I have booked an AC room, I was given non AC room, saying, I have booked non AC room.
Than I called Yatra.com, they did talked a lot with hotel reception and because of their internal issues, hotel refused to provide me an AC room. After some commitment from Yatra, I was provided an AC room in which AC was not cooling. Toilet was stinking, toilet seat was broken, it was a old messy room. Lock is not working from inside, so can't lock room.
My package was including breakfast, hotel first refused to provide breakfast, saying " in their voucher breakfast is not included", I showed them my voucher, after discussing for about half an hour, they agreed for breakfast
Since I was getting late, me and my wife adjusted for some time, and while going out, I asked person on reception, please change my room while I come back and explained all the issues.
After we came back, same story again, we will not change your room, AC is not included and blah blah... I immediately called Yatra.com people and explained them, the person, I was speaking to put me on hold and after some time, disconnected the call.
I again called Yatra.com and started explaining everything from the beginning, they again asked me to stay on hold and after few minutes, they said, sorry, we can not do anything.
I don't understand : HOW CAN YATRA.COM CAN REFUSE TO GIVE A PROPER SOLUTION FOR WHICH I HAVE PAID TO THEM IN ADVANCE ?
Since we have to leave in 4 hours time, we have no choice left. But for sure, I will never come in this hotel again and never book anything from Yatra.com
So I learnt from this trip... 1. never trust Yatra.com, never book anything from them, they don't do anything for their customers
2. Never come back to this hotel, Hotel President, Porbandar.
This was a complete Harassment package from Yatra.com and Hotel President, Porbandar

Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms

Ease of check-in, Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms ! and main positive thing is the location. Railway station, taxi stand, bus stand all are approachable easily. The Hotel staff and Management provided excellent service and are very approachable. Very clean rooms and excellent service. Linens were regularly cleaned and changed. Prompt service with a smile on face. Excellent food made our stay memorable.

Good for night stay

The Hotel is pretty near from the railway station. The service staff is good. We had checked in earlier than intended and so couldn't get the room booked. instead the manager gave us a much better room without additional charges. the room was neat and clean. The food though a bit costly was good. The room service was also perfect that they were even ready to make up things in the middle of the night. The bathroom was clean, though the bathroom curtains were pretty old and unattractive. The bathrooms should have better ventilation. They had also helped us get back to the station with their escort. Overall good experience.

Hygienic , very good food , service & hospitality. Fantastic location

Visited there with my family (group of 8) and stayed for 5 nights from 16th feb to 20 th feb 2015.
We were skeptical about this place due to mixed reviews but truly worth every penny we spent.
The rooms were nice and clean. Linens were regularly cleaned and changed. Prompt service with a smile on face. Excellent food made our stay comfortable.
To add on the location was perfect. It was walking distance from market & other tourist places were at an appoachable distance.
The lane on which the hotel is located had ample of steet food available.
Do try the local gathiya n jalebi from there.
