Very cozy and nice, fantastic family run

Fantastic and truely homely! Spacious room with mountain, valley and lake view. Very cordial hosts, family run. Delicious Gujarati menu. Non-veg limited to egg dishes. Approach is thru a narrow bushy road, bit rough and secluded.
2nd trip update:
As usual, very cozy and nice. However, this time found that the hosts are kind of overwhelmed if it is running full; breakfast menu and kitchen timings get constrained. Approach road still remains bit challenging (easy to miss the turn from main road and then bit rough/ rocky).
However, the hosts still are very accommodating - we booked at the last moment (one day before) in busy season, but luckily got the room we wanted.

A Relaxing Spot for all

The location is scenic and quiet, perfect for a relaxing break away from busy routines. The surroundings add a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, well presented, and offered at a fair price. Everything felt organised and welcoming from the moment I arrived.
The hosts stood out the most. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable throughout the stay. The home-cooked food was excellent, with every meal prepared with care and full of flavour.
Thank you for also looking after my Dad. That meant a lot and made the experience even more special.
I would strongly recommend Mountview Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with great service and food.
