Diwali stay in Udaipur

Location: It's located at perfect location for travel within old city right next to Jagdish Temple. You can walk around to nearby places like Gangaur Ghat, Ambrai Ghat, Bagore ki Haveli , City Palace.
You can get rickshaw to travel outside right from Hotel doorstep, however while returning back during peak season roads get blocked and you might need to walk back from far.
Regarding Room : we had booked Super Deluxe room which was quite spacious, with all basic amenities. Room and washroom were quite clean. Only issue was on our side there was no lift. So we had to go to 1st floor from our side and then get lift to 5th floor for Breakfast.
Breakfast was quite good , fresh and tasty.
Staff is friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay with best view from top

Hotel is nice. I had book super deluxe room, they were spacious, neat and clean. View from roof top resturant was amazing. Food was tasty, they had limited spread in breakfast. I think spread should be more. They also help us with providing Jain food. City palace, gangaur ghat, Jagdish temple are at walkable distance. Overall experience was good. Would recommend to other.

Best Hotel and restaurant in the old city

Stayed here 2 Nights, It has decent and large rooms having good facilities, staff is very courteous especially Mr. Ankit at the reception and he will guide you also, their highlight is the rooftop restaurant named SunnMoon basically the best food you can get in the old city, staff there is also very polite and helpful especially Ms. Anitma and Mr. Mohit

Manipulated rating for a extremely bad hotel

Had booked this hotel through Agoda website. This hotel - Udai Niwas was rated as a luxury hotel.
To begin with you cannot reach this hotel in a car, and have to tug your luggage almost 1-2 km or pay an exorbitant autorickshaw fare.
Next there is no name plate of the hotel, and you have to go through the entrance of a Cafe.
The room which looked like a palace on website was dark and small with very poor lighting and cockroaches swarming the whole room.
My 8 year old daughter was petrified of the whole place.
So I requested for an upgrade to another ao called ‘Super Delux’ room which was another ball game.
Bottom line avoid this hotel, not worth a single penny.
I would be writing to Agoda also so that tourists are not fleeced by hotels like this.

Heart of Udaipur

The hotel is situated in the heart of Udaipur. We loved the stay... a little noisy as it's in a crowded area and due to some construction. But the staff is nice.. And the rooftop restaurant is awesome!
