A paradise for connoisseurs – cuisine meets warmth

We had an all-round perfect stay at this family-run hotel – it really doesn’t get any better! Already on arrival we were warmly welcomed by host Klaus, whose friendliness and attention have characterized the entire stay. The whole team in the service was always courteous, professional and incredibly friendly.
We were particularly impressed by the excellent regional food – fresh, varied and simply incredibly delicious. Here you can notice the attention to quality and the region in every detail.
The rooms are modern, tastefully decorated and very clean. The wellness area with sauna also invites you to relax.
Another highlight is the lounge with table tennis and billiards – perfect for the kids. For winter sports enthusiasts, the ski depot directly at the gondola is a huge plus and makes the start of the ski day particularly convenient.
Conclusion: 10 out of 10 points! We are absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back. A clear recommendation for those who value quality, hospitality and an all-round successful holiday experience

Great hotel

We were in the beautiful, family-run hotel at the end of June 2026. We liked everything very much. This is how I imagine hospitality. We thought the check-in was just great. Sit down on the terrace and have something nice to drink, we will take care of the rest. That is how it should be after a 9-hour drive. The hotel is simply great, very well-maintained, and the outdoor area is just wonderful. You can tell how every little detail is taken care of so that the guests feel comfortable. Food was excellent, service great, an all-around carefree package. We would love to come back. A thank you to Klaus and his nice wife, who was always to be seen with a smile. A big thank you also to the entire staff, who all do a super job every single day. THANK YOU from all of us.

10 pleasant days at the Alpenhof

Very nice rooms, super friendly people who look after us, delicious breakfast every day and a very good evening menu. Plus the great mountains, the Grossarl valley, fresh air. What more could you want?
Even the weather has improved every day since we arrived.
Simply a beautiful place.

Beautiful days in the Hotel Alpenhof with the best location.

The Hotel Alpenhof is in a good and quiet location with a special view of the mountains and the surrounding area.
The reception is warm and you get all the information you need for your time there. Information brochures are also handed out. The rooms are modern and have a balcony. The service is great and the food is of very good quality with fresh regional products. The rooms are cleaned daily. We can recommend the Hotel Alpenhof without reservation.

Beautiful hotel in Austria

My family and I stayed at this hotel in our drive up to Salzburg in the summer. This was one of the most amazing hotels we have stayed in. The owner, Klaus, and his staff were so welcoming, humble and kind. We arrived late and they made us food late at night even with though their kitchen was closed. The hotel was clean and the rooms were newly remodeled. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located with bike rental next to it. Highly recommend it!
