Lovely room and very nicely situated hotel, Martha’s restaurant nearby is ideal for dinner, and the supermarkets are only 5 minutes away. You can walk to the airport if you are not overburdened with luggage. Special thanks to Anna for all her help

Wonderful family hotel

Wonderful family hotel. Very friendly staff. Take the updated rooms, the renovation is good, the rooms are big. Breakfasts are good, and salmon and vegetables and eggs in any variation and cheeses and a bunch of everything else and ROW and juices and coffee and basically everything you need for breakfast. Small but cozy sauna and Roman steam room. Wonderful employees Anna and Manuel. Despite the proximity of the airport, no planes were heard at all. It's 10min by bus to downtown. We'd love to come again!

Wonderful hotel, close to airport.

Wonderful stay near Salzburg Airport!
We stayed one night at Himmelreich in Wals, Austria, and it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is spotless, with spacious rooms and a large balcony overlooking the mountains. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and even allowed us to check in two hours early.
Our room was large and comfortable, with a powerful hot shower, soft fluffy towels, a large smart TV, and a well-stocked minibar. The breakfast was amazing — hot, plentiful, and included eggs cooked to order. There were gluten-free options, including freshly baked gluten-free rolls, which was a lovely touch.
The hotel also has a swimming pool and a lovely garden area. It’s only about a 5-minute drive to the airport, making it very convenient for travelers.
We stayed here because we wanted to be close to the airport, but it exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was far better than at Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron, which cost over €50 more!
Highly recommend — great value, comfort, and service.

Wonderful

What a wonderful place! The food was fantastic, the hospitality stellar, and overall it was so comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful surroundings with great amenities. Alois was so kind—we’re truly grateful for his service and positive energy. Manuel was knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly helpful. I will definitely be sure to visit again! Thank you for a great time!

Perfect Stay

The hotel Himmelreich is hidden away in a residential area but close to all amenities and a retail outlet just minutes away., a regular bus service every 10 minutes or so runs to the centre of Salzburg city. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are a good size with all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay, the beds are comfortable and each room has a balcony facing either the side or the beautiful garden and natural swimming pool. Salzburg Airport is reached easily by road in minutes or if you prefer just a bit longer walking distance. Breakfast is plentiful and is served in the lovely dining room or outside on the terrace in warmer weather. I can highly recommend this hotel for peace and quiet but with everything at hand should you require this.
