Just a 5-minute walk from Lake Walchsee, the Seehof includes a spa area with indoor and outdoor pools. Inhouse there is also a horse riding school, 3 indoor tennis courts and 1 indoor beach volleyball court.

Very nice family-run hotel
Very nice family-run hotel. We felt very comfortable from the first to the last day. We had a very nice room with a balcony with a view of the lake. It was the Harmony double room. We stayed in it with 2 adults and one child and that was great.
The food was very good and very varied.
There were two outdoor pools and one indoor pool and then also the large pool area for the children. All pools were used extensively by us, especially by our daughter ☺️ There were always enough lounge chairs and also sun umbrellas available at the outdoor pool. Our daughter is almost seven and also really enjoyed going to the Kids Club. A lot of different programs were also offered there throughout the day. The caregiver was very affectionate and always immediately built a rapport with the children. Really great. Otherwise, the children can go horseback riding or learn to ride. Introductory lessons are also offered time and again.
There is so much to do in the area, and Lake Walchsee is also a super beautiful swimming lake. We can highly recommend the hotel and will be back next year. Thanks to the hotel and all the staff for this great vacation. Just keep it up.

Hotel with potential
Family vacation at Walchsee
Positive:
Tennis coach is brilliant & focuses absolutely on the students. Very individual & professional training!
Booking & billing are handled directly through the coach.
Water worlds are an absolute highlight for young and old with set closing times during the midday period.
Very large and comfortable room without carpet and a fairly new bathroom (toilet separated from the bathroom).
Unfortunately, there is a lot of room for improvement...
Our room was only superficially cleaned for 14 days.
Unfortunately, the shelf by the sink was not cleaned even once within 14 days. We cleared it off 3 times extra to send a signal. Unfortunately without success. Also, lint in the toilet room - behind the door - accompanied us for 14 days.
Hygiene bags in the bathroom were only refilled after 5 days.
Room service opens the door without knocking.
The staff throughout the hotel is mostly friendly, but at times very stressed.
Upon arrival, we received a welcome drink at the bar near the reception.
Perhaps we did not have the optimal arrival day (Friday) because…
The selection at our first breakfast was quite limited, no juice machine, a tiered stand with fruit - completely rotten/shriveled strawberries.
From day to day, the selection became a bit more varied & the juice machine was also set up (however, the plastic spout was so loose that it liked to fall into the glass). By the end, it was no longer there…
Shrimp skewers were offered at times; unfortunately, these were tasteless. Attention should be paid more to quality & taste rather than quantity.
Basically, there were many repetitions at dinner, very large bowls that were set up without any care.
Labels were completely missing for the muesli - here you could only guess what was in the bowls. At dinner, the dishes were mostly labeled.
In the restaurant, there are sometimes long wait times before the first drink order for dinner can be placed.
Generally, there is too little staff, so you always have to wait a long time to order something - in the
restaurant, as well as in the Tenne.
There were days when it was not a problem - on other days, you were forgotten or even ignored.
Stressed staff in some places.
At lunchtime, waiters walked past you looking stressed and ignored the fact that you wanted to order. When asked… the answer: A colleague will be right over, he is not responsible.
During our stay, a soccer team from FC Aris was also at the hotel.
They had their own buffet area for dinner. Unfortunately, food scraps lay here on a bench right in the entrance area from Tuesday morning until Thursday evening (generally clearly visible).
There was no official water dispenser for water bottles in the restaurant (extra note that beverage dispensers are only available during meal times)
Freshly washed towels have stains in some places.
Used towels in the wellness area are piling up & lying on the floor.
Billiards, foosball, etc. only for coins.
Weak Wi-Fi connection in some places on the right.
Reception is not staffed 24/7.
The pool bar has seen better days. A small dishwasher is available, but plastic cups were also washed by hand.
For a short trip, you can have a good vacation at the Seehof - for longer stays, you should not have too high expectations.

Perfect short vacation
Everything was perfect. Very nice, well-kept, large facility with a lot to offer. Outdoor pool, indoor pool, water slide world, very nice sauna village. Friendly staff, the room was ready for occupancy before noon. Excellent food, nice evening atmosphere in the barn.

Can be recommended
As for culinary - wellness - sports, simply fabulous. Only that the price level has tightened is less pleasing: no EZ, but surcharges for double/single use - additional costs for sports facilities use. It didn't happen before.
