A very special hotel

Der Waldhof is a wonderful hotel for many many reasons. Andrea looks after you so well and provides all the information you need to make sure you make the most out of your day. Michael is an incredible chef - breakfast is a feast to set you up for the day and the 5 course dinner so varied and delicious.
The rooms are very well appointed and very comfortable. We sleep with the doors to the balcony open and can take in the mountain view and air. Just so restful.

By far the best hotel room on our vacation. Everything was perfect, great room, very friendly hosts, everything super clean and well-maintained, perfect breakfast and breathtaking landscape.

Great stay

The stay at Der Waldhof fully lived up to our expectations and more. Andrea and Michaels' welcoming and service, the large room with stunning views and the area was absolutely perfect. And then there's the food - that's totally in a special class! Everything is done deliciously, freshly made and tasty, and many of the dishes resemble something we otherwise only got right at fine gourmet restaurants. It was easy to get into the cableways in the city, and there are many nice walks in the mountains around the hotel. We stayed there for eight nights and will definitely come back!

Enjoyable time out

Such a warm welcome makes the joy of this weekend even greater at the end of the winter season.
Andrea and Michael revive this feel-good hotel with their naturalness, appreciation and friendliness - we have been well looked after and pampered all around. The creative delicious evening menu rounds off a dreamlike day in a delightful way.
Thank you - we will come back!
