Business Trip Stay

I stayed at the Santner Gasthof in Thalgau At the end of February for a three day business trip. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. On arrival, i was greeted by the owner, who was a very noce chap and made me very welcome. Spoke Excellent English and gave me full details about the hotel.
The Room was a single room, with ensuite Shower. Fresh Towels and Fresh Bed Linen and quilt. The bed was very comfortable for the stay. The room had a portable TV that had local TV Channels and was adequate for my stay and also good WIFI Internet in the Room.
The resturant had a very local Tyrol feel and was very friendly. Again the Owner and Staff went out of their way to make you feel at Home. The food was Excellent with a very good Price.
Overall, i recommend the stay, the owner and staff are very friendly and it has everything you would need for a business / pleasure night stay.

Should we be back in Thalgau we will certainly visit another inn

The Gasthaus Santner was disappointing for us: We felt unwelcome as guests, the boss was unfriendly, and the prices – e.g. €5.80 for a bowl of wheat beer – are excessive. Other Tripadvisor reviews also criticize the boss's condescending nature, lack of hospitality and unreasonably high prices. Overall unfortunately not recommended.

Excellent hotel

Very clean and welcoming hotel. For 4 people we were assigned a mini apartment with two bedrooms and 1 bathroom, very clean and with all comforts. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast very good with both savory and sweet products. The owner proved to be an excellent hostess, denoting love and competence for her work. Too bad there is no possibility of having dinner (they only serve lunch). Compliments

Nice stay over - outside Salburg

Rooms are spotless clean, very friendly service in restaurant, good dinner and decadent breakfast buffet. The hotel has a buthchery attached. Approx. 20 minutes drive to Salzburg and to the lakes, i.e. reasonable option to visit Salburg and the sourounding lands.

Familiär und gemütlich

Waren auf der Durchreise durch Österreich. Als wir ankamen wurden wir schon herzlich und persönlich begrüßt.
Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und groß.
Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und mundet sehr. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Kleines Manko ist, dass man kein Abendessen kann.
