Very friendly, quiet, large warm rooms, interesting breakfast buffet

Lovely, older but well preserved hotel with large rooms. Very quiet. Staff very friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. Plenty of free parking available. Interesting breakfast buffet with fruits, cold meats, cheese, corn flakes, etc... Fine plentiful "breakfast to go" is prepared on request the night before, by the kitchen with, among other things, 2 excellent sandwiches, etc... if you have to leave before 0800. Room very well heated. Wi-Fi works very well. Good value for money. I would definitely go back.

Good accommodation, rich breakfast, perfect location

Perfect location - near the railway station and public bus/Flixbus stops. 15 minutes on foot to the town centre, 17 minutes by bus to the local thermal spa. Rich breakfast, I think everyone can choose something. Nice and helpful staff, the room was clean and spacious, with a TV, small fridge and hairdryer. Possibly A/C or at least a fan would come in handy in summer. Otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

Good choice for Jelenia Gora

Clean, nice and quiet hotel located directly next to the main train station. Free WiFi and parking as well as tasty breakfasts (included in price) are undoubted advantages of this place in Jelenia Góra.

BREAKFAST!

Breakfast was by far the HIGHLIGHT of my experience at Hotel Fenix. It was included in the price of my stay, and it was FABULOUS. There was an assortment of breads and rolls which were all fresh. The spread of egg salad, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and so on was amazing. There was plenty to choose from, and I was particularly pleased with the twarozek! Additionally, there were cereals, waffles, fruit, and hot items including sausage and eggs. I honestly looked forward with anticipation to my breakfast each day. I don't even eat this well at home.
Aside from the breakfast, there are plenty of other positives to this hotel. One is the location. As a solo traveler using public transportation most of the time, I need a places that is easily accessible. The location of Fenix couldn't have been better for me. It was a 2 minute walk from the main train station, and there is a bus stop across the street for easy access to other parts of the city (including Ciepliskie if you're planning to go to the thermal baths there). Also, you're right on 1-ego Maja, so when weather permits, it's an easy walk to the main strip of shops and tourist stops on your way to the main square.
The hotel is on the older side, but that doesn't mean they compromise on quality. Everything was very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. I felt safe at this location... and even with the proximity to the train station there was nearly no noise.

Fabulous base

There is nothing I can say only the staff were very pleasant and helpful, and very friendly, breakfast has something for everyone, and plenty of it! I stayed in a single room for 10 days here and my room was spacious and clean. Great value for money
