Filipinos for one night
We came to spend one night for my spouse's birthday with our 2-month-old baby, to remind us of our trip to Bali. We almost believe in the Philippines!!
Baby cot provided free of charge.
Free bottle of sparkler.
Very clean, comfortable and nice room, as well as jacuzzi and sauna.
The breakfast is superb and very hearty!

Very nice place. The staff are accommodating. Room is clean. Good food. Much needed for a couple. The location is good. The ambiance is amazing. Very much recommended. Feels like home. Memorable experience. Professional staff and welcoming.

Lovely and peaceful getaway
We got to know this place through Social Deals and booked it for a one-night-stay.
Its located in the charming country side in Hooglede. A very quiet town.
You can reach it through a small road in the middle of some fields.
Its easy to find since they've put the offert to place two big 'billboards'!
The place itself was situated in a very romantic garden with two small ponds, beautiful weeping willows etc.
The room itself was great. The level of details was amazing. Even though it was in a chalet, it could have easily been an luxurious hotel room! With a private sauna, hot tub and shower it was the perfect place for a romantic night.
For a small fee we booked breakfast. They offered a large assortiment. Definitely no complaints there!
I have to thank Analyn and Koen for their hospitality. Even though they had a very busy weekend, they took the time to welcome us and see to our needs.

Amazing hosts Analyn and Koen located on working farm
Very friendly hosts who took the time to sit with us and get to know us a little, most of their guests stay a single night as a romantic gettaway but we stayed longer due to the wonderful proximity of places we wanted to see. Belgium, Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges all within proximity either by car or public transport.
Free parking onsite and we could come and go as we pleased.
The farm itself and property were amazing ponds, bridges, lovely apple tree, beautiful tall privacy grasses, a weeping willow and a crop of cucumber in the greenhouse they were happy to share. Many places to sit and relax next to the small bar/ restaurant, an outdoor seating area, chairs on our small private deck.
We had a hot tub all to ourselves and a privacy curtain to pull across when in use but no one was going to invade your privacy. There is a big sign that swimsuits are not allowed LOL. We lit candles for ambience and sipped wine in the hot tub each night.
We were provided a delicious and huge breakfast every morning by Analyn in the bar/restaurant a few steps from our room and the main house. Yogurt with fresh fruit, breads, eggs, ham and cheeses and one day a gift of a really decadent chocolate mousse from Koen. So much food in fact we were able to make a packed lunch and occasional midnight snack from it.
The room had everything we needed it was quiet even though on the perimeter of the property. Bed very comfy lots of blankets and a really nice decor fit for a princess. Pictures of the Phillipines and our hosts decorated the walls, lots of nicnacs.
Lots of cupboard space, floor space even a fridge which we put our cheese and wine in.
Upon arrival we were gifted with a bottle of sparkling wine a great start and there was pop and water in the fridge.
We knew going in that the Philippines experience included an outdoor toilet which was located near the room and hot tub, but there was a shower and sink inside the room. It did not prove to be an issue at all kind of quirky. I love quirky.
We were self catering and Analyn and Koen happily allowed us use of the kitchen inside their private residence across the courtyard anytime we wanted. Microwave, stove, dishes and utensils and their pleasant company including their polite and inquisitive son.
It was everything we expected and more so much better than a hotel.

Super!
On se demande en longeant la petite route en pleine campagne si on ne s'est pas trompés de chemin... Puis on arrive et c'est le dépaysement total ! Après un accueil très chaleureux, on découvre la petite cabane avec le mobilier tout en bois, décorée dans un style philippin qui nous transporte immédiatement ailleurs... Le jacuzzi en dessous du patio est top et tout est parfait pour un weekend en amoureux, à seulement 30km de Bruges ou Ostende.
Très bon petit déjeuner également. Un endroit à découvrir !
