Fine, if you don’t mind noise and cleaning yourself

We are currently staying in one of the family chalets.
+ beautiful location!!
+ indoor and outdoor pool, great for any weather conditions
+ small Playground for kids 4-8 years
- we stayed for 11 days. No towels were changed during this time, dirty ones remained in the corner of the bathroom.. although we came home to our beds made once. Weird to make the beds but not anything else.
- when we (2 adults, 3 kids ages 5-7) arrived, only 4 beds (2x 2 singles) were made. We put 2 singles together to create 1 double, but since they easily separated again we bought some lashing straps.
- one of our kids needed to sleep on the futon in the living room. Turns out: the living room is not large enough to have the futon permanently in bed-mode. To avoid having to change it every day we let our youngest sleep in our ‘double’ bed with us. In theory, the chalet could house 6 persons comfortably. This is not the case, i’d say 4 max.
- no air conditioning, or fans. We brought our own fans.
- The furniture is dated. Parts of the faux leather chairs were chipping off. Easy to replace/repair, somehow it was decided not to?
- over the span of the last 3 days, I fished 2 dead mice out of the outdoor pool. My daughters saw them when they went swimming. Drowned wildlife is to be expected in such a pool, but I don’t think guests should repeatidly be the one to see and handle it accordingly!
- the chalet is NOISY. We could literally sing along with the music our neighbors were playing. We could hear normal-volume conversations. We could hear bathroom noises… in turn, We worried so much about our crying kids and the early noise they make each day.. fortunately we had lovely neighbours, but still. The chalet is Only separated to the neighbours by a thin sliding door, which is locked but can be opened if both chalets are booked by one bigger family.
- one of our kids (mind you, she’s 5) looked through the keyhole of the door separatist us from the neighbors and said she could see the neighbours butt. So…yeah.
- during our stay the smaller indoor pool was frequently and largely occupied by swimming lessons for locals.
Good to know:
- although not proactieve offered to us, you can ask for a table umbrella for your outdoor space
- pool is not supervised in any capacity although the gate around it seems to suggest safety. Gate is easily opened or left opened. Please watch your kids!
- no ‘camping shop’ for necessities such as matches, toilet paper or coffee etc.
- you can enjoy something to eat and drink at the outdoor pool terrace, although more dinner-like dishes: pork with mushroom sauce, or shrimp pasta, etc. No croques/sandwiches/pastries.
- fancy some ice cream on a hot day? There’s only limited choice of the regular magnums. Not for everyone!
All in all, it was a nice stay but mostly because we had amazing weather and our kids are just old enough to still enjoy the little Playground, swim by themselves, and we had the means to go to other place often. The location is beautiful, 10/10. There’s A lot to do in the area. But the chalet was very dated, way too noisy, too small, and the cleanliness and facilities were lacking.

Very small rooms in the hotel, poor services.

We stayed here for work, to go to the spa in the circuit, the main structure is very beautiful, although not very convenient to reach. The rooms assigned to us were in the main hotel structure, very small with low ceilings, without air conditioning, while outside it was 38 degrees for the entire week. At the front desk, we did not see anyone during check-in or check-out. Every time we asked about the restaurant, they told us it closed at 8:00 PM even though it was supposed to be open until 8:30 PM, or that they had no space to serve us even though they were empty. In short, flexibility and services for those staying at the facility, who might also want to stay there without moving after a day of work, were truly poor, and the staff was poorly prepared. We were forced to sleep with the windows open due to the excessive heat, and all night there were disturbing noises. We really slept very little and poorly! For the beautiful structure they have, they could improve the services for an international audience.
