Excellent option
The hotel is renovated, room with good size, great shower, anti-noise windows, friendly staff and the subway is on the sidewalk of the hotel. Great cost benefit! I will stay again when I return to Lisbon.

Good option, with small disadvantage of road in front of house
Appartment Hotel in a larger house, has a bakery below directly and around the corner a supermarket. Even better is the Metra station right in front of the house. This is an ideal starting point for the city and to get back to the airport.
Breakfast/dinner option is not available, but the surrounding area gives enough for it.
Unfortunately a bit noisy, since at a seemingly busy intersection. At night, honking was sometimes permanent, for whatever reason. Which was a little disturbing.

More than anything it deserves it for the position
It occupies a few floors of a tall building that stands almost in the center of the northern side of the long rectangle of the garden "da Alamada Dom Afonso Henriques". The reception is located on the 6th floor and our room was on the eighth: this caused some minor inconvenience in leaving and picking up the room key, given that upon exiting the lift it was almost always immediately taken by others, given the size of the room. building and the number of homes present, in addition to the hotel guests, resulting in a waste of time. The room was large, clean, furnished in a spartan and economical way but with a modern and pleasant appearance, with a balcony overlooking the aforementioned garden and therefore with a wide panoramic view (also on the large fountain called Fonte Luminosa); good amenities, given that there was wifi, a (wall-mounted) wardrobe with safe, air conditioning, a decent-sized flat-screen TV, a small desk with chair, bedside tables and many electrical sockets; blind bathroom small but with large shower and sink of sufficient size (obviously no bidet); bathroom products and hairdryer available; change of towels every day (which could also have been avoided, to help the environment). Among the strong points: practically total external soundproofing; reception open 24 hours a day; panorama; excellent location (metro stop under the door where both the red and green lines stop: in 5 stops you are in Rossio; bar/pastry shop also with restaurant service next to the door, with more than excellent prices). Among the weak points: insufficient soundproofing towards internal environments (i.e. towards noises from the corridor/other rooms); mattress/pillow comfort only sufficient; TV remote control difficult to use and mostly not working (initially it didn't change the channels; once this problem was resolved we were no longer able to turn off the TV unless we unplugged it); the intermittent lights of the smoke/flame detector on the ceiling were extremely annoying at night (in daylight they are not noticeable), when every 6/7 seconds they turned on with the effect of a small flash that surpassed the barrier of our eyelids (after the first two nights of discomfort, we solved it by climbing onto a chair and applying pieces of dark opaque paper nearby before going to bed: the ideal solution would have been to have the appropriate blinders with us); There is no place to hang towels in the bathroom.

Good location , nice budget hotel option.
Having seen some reviews, I was a little nervous but there was no need to be. Hotel was very good - large clean room, balcony with a view of the castle, the river and the Fountain Luminosa just across in the park next door. Bed was comfortable, plenty of cupboard space and good shower/ bathroom.
Layout is a little unusual - reception is on 6th floor and hotel is on and above this floor. There is also a dentist, a cafe/ baker and private flats all in the same block. Entrance is secure however. Only saw staff for check in and check out which was fine for us and the staff we did meet with were excellent ( very friendly) You are located next to Almeda metro station - about 6 or 7 stops from airport direct and about 5 stops down to the centre of Lisbon so location was excellent for us. Area is pleasant - nothing fancy, but there is the beautiful Luminosa fountain which is lit up at night and there is also a little cafe / bar in the same park which we used a few times.
If we return to Lisbon, we would definitely use this hotel again !
