A wonderful stay by all standards. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally professional—especially the reception staff, Hamish and Austin. Their kindness and professionalism were the reason I extended my stay for an additional night at the hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Sharjah, Lavender Hotel, near El Khan Beach
We visited this hotel in November 2025. It's a cozy place, you might say. The most important condition for us is the proximity of the beach, which became the basis for the choice. Previously read some reviews on the condition of the hotel, its location, rooms. Anyway, the first, second and third coincided. Internally the hotel is nice, lobby, reception, restaurant, swimming pool, sports hall - you can say brought to normal look and condition. The rooms, of course, spoil the impression - should the owners invest in them some money, for the bathroom spoils all the good impression of the hotel as a whole (ancient renovation, poorly functioning plumbing, broken tiles on the walls and floor, and even a little mold....alas, this was not happy). The food is wonderful, there is practically no complaints - everything is delicious, many, varied (we took breakfast and dinner). Jackpot - if the room will be on the 1st floor, overlooking the road or the alley (but we got the 2nd floor, where 24 hours a day air conditioning worked on the roof, which is very unpleasant at night: the hum is unpleasant for the ear). At 4 stars, this hotel is very conventional, would give a 3 with a tail. But it's inexpensive, for amateurs to save money - I recommend.
The sea is not far: 5 minutes of quiet walking and you're already at Al Khan beach. The sand is a shallow, warm shallow sea. The beach itself is well-developed, but it's a little weak - 2 out of 5 stars. Although cared for, garbage is cleared, rescuers sit on towers and occasionally whistle to those who swim far away, there is a cafe and shower, toilet. Beach volleyball is organized by the local public. But cleaning up after themselves holidaymakers do not always like: cigarette butts, small food wrappers, other things often caught their eye. And someone wrote that "tourists are to blame." I would say - both the local population and tourists make an "effort" to pollute the beach is equal. Smoking is loved by "black" local boys (but smoking tourists we have not seen, or not noticed?). Yes, the equipment on the beach is old: sunbeds and umbrellas (albeit paid: 30 dirhams - umbrella, 10 - one sunbed) - "killed", as if 10 or 12 years here. And the rental document (check or something) is NOT given to local "beach watchers", so don't be surprised (if you step away from your umbrella for lunch or just to the hotel for a break from the sun, then this "watching" tanned guy will try to re-pay you for the umbrella and sunbed). No credit, as they say.

Forgive me, but when we arrived in front of the hotel building, we thought it was an abandoned building. The facade and windows are very stained and the lobby is very depressing
