New, clean, beautiful. Executive King Suite is even better that the photos and video walk-through can show. So much space, 1.5 bathrooms, upscale feel and quiet locations at the ends of the hallways.
Comfy beds, varied seating options, lovely balconies. Washrooms are modern and comfortable but no extra amenities are in the room — so you will need to ask front desk if you need anything extra.
Housekeeping and turn-down service were attentive and thorough.
Property offers spa, golf and driving range. The pool, hot tub, terraces are gorgeous. On-site restaurants (terrace BBQ was meh but Carve sit-down resto was amazing) make it possible to stay and just stay put — but there are good options in CR too.
Highly recommend! Just check around for pricing — we paid $150 less per night than someone else checking out at the same time by booking thru Hotels.com. .

Disappointing
I took my daughters out for lunch. We shared mussels and had our own Caesar salads.
The mussels were the worst I’ve ever had…..I make them at home all the time…it isent hard to make the stock delicious that you want to keep dipping your bread into….all it takes is garlic…white wine….fresh herbs…these clams had no flavour….the stock was murky brown and tasteless….we complained to waitress….she said she’d talk to the chef….came back with our bill and said nothing about the clams….we had to bring it up again….she said the chef said they get lots of compliments on the clams….nothing taken off our bill…still paid 30.00 for the clams……I have regrets leaving a 20% tip…the place is gorgeous…the food quality dosent compare to its environment…went yesterday for a spa treatment and time at pool……was looking forward to the menu from the bbq setup by pool as website said they’d be open by 11….at 12 we inquired with front desk…..nobody knew why they weren’t open….said staff for bbq was signed up for 1:00??….waitress was accommodating and brought us menus from Carve…we ordered the shaved beef melt….it totally lacked flavour….needed spice added to it….and the tomato salad has this detailed write up making it sound delicious but it was terrible….over powering rosemary flavour…which ruined it….needed fresh basil instead…which would have been more complementary to tomatoes…..overall I think they need to really look at the chefs they have working.

Wonderful new hotel - with bad coffee
This is a new, modern, beautifully designed hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the food in the main dining room is mostly quite good - except for the coffee, which is too weak and lacks a distinctive flavor. The cappuccino, which the serve staff brew with a push-button machine, is even worse!
How can such an upscale hotel skimp on its coffee brewing? I would have rated the resort five stars if it served decent coffee.

One night in Campbell River.
Clean and newer hotel. Hotel restaurant very good. Not really a hotel to stay for the views of campbell river. Nice hotel.

This was the best choice I could have made beautiful accommodations and just a delight to stay at such a lovely venue.
