This is a sanitarium like place. The water in the pools was excellent with very clear instructions on how to use the spa. Ideal for autoimmune disease like rheumatism, psoryasis

Hotel NO LONGER UP TO PAR

Hotel No longer up to par! Rooms only get cleaned after 3 days. So no fresh towels. After being in salt water, one wants to take a good shower but the only 2 bath towels are still wet from last shower! Had to go to desk to get more towels! Water shut off for hr or so 2 nights! ???? Restaurant by pool NOT OPEN for breakfast this morning! Worker never showed up! Don’t think we’ll go back! Was disappointed.

The property could have had a lot of work done on its cleanliness the drapes in the room were pitted with missing backing allowing the light to shine in the stairwells were not kept clean the outdoor entertaining space and beverage center was unmanaged and unkept, the windows were dirty to look out, the restaurant orders for misunderstood

Unfair treatment and poor amenities

I had very bad experience at the pool (the main attraction of this hotel). My 90 year old mother in law (with mobility issue) was with us to enjoy the benefits of the salted mineral pool. She was told by staff that she was not wearing proper attire at the pool and not allow to use the pool not even soaking her feet. She was wearing man's swim shorts with a T shirt. In the meantime, they allowed a woman wearing a T shirt that she bought at the gift shop and a girl on the wheel chair fully clothed in dry clothes to use the pool. I felt we were treated unfairly and the staff was insensitive and made no accommodation. The pool is quite run down and the change room seem dirty. I highly not recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Manitou springs resort, the hotel rooms were clean and we enjoyed the pools very much. The pool could use some updating but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The staff were friendly and could use some extra help on busy weekends. We had a nice time with our family.
