Amazing!

The view was amazing! The staff was amazing! The Inn is very close to a restaurant and the beach. The beach had warm water so you could easily swim. Can’t say anything bad about this place. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We had a great time.

Interesting folks, great location

We stayed in Margaree Harbour in between two driving sightseeing days on a glorious trip to Nova Scotia to see the Fall colours and spectacular scenery. The B&B is at the end of the Cabot Trail in a very picturesque setting. Our hosts were very interesting. The breakfast was good. The room was small, but lovely, and the bathroom well appointed, but shared, which didn't matter to us, as we were the only guests at the time (mid week).

A good old fashioned experience

If you are a ‘tick list’ person you won’t stay here for the reasons listed in other reviews. I’m not. I enjoyed a two night stay in this quirky set up where you are welcomed into a real home where the ownership goes back at least three generations.
I’m sure that of all the places I stay in during this two week venture in Nova Scotia this is the one I will remember. It is a real home not a slick business and real people are allowed to be idiosyncratic in their own homes. You will be comfortable and well looked after. My companion had mentioned casually that he had been asked to get some maple leaves for a friend and we arrived back later to find that our hosts had picked various types for him. That sort of kindness and helpful ness outweighs the lack of toiletries. Some people need to get a life and the real people running this unique place get a decent review from this traveller.

Would definitely stay there again!

This motel was spotless! Fantastic service and room was so comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here. Very reasonable price. Unfortunately, we only had time to spend one night here; would have stayed much longer if our schedule allowed! Property was well looked after also!

Homestead Hospitality

Stayed one night in this original coastal home with the third(?) generation residents/decedents. Helpful. Friendly. Accommodating. Like being home. Great location at the fork in the road and easy to find.
Wonderful for someone who loves nicknacks
