Great Budget Friendly Motel that's under Renovations to be a Stand alone Budget friendly Motel
This budget friendly motel has Wonderful Office staff that are accommodating , helpful and friendly. The Owners Jay & Anita have just started renovating the rooms and Nobody can wait for the New Exciting Changes that are to come, as well as the new , happier customers that they'll bring and I hope that these customers don't steal the new towels or bedding like most of the past customers did. I also hope that the new customers dont use the bed or pillows and bedding as toilet paper or as the toilet because I've NEVER SEEN as many NASTY People go CRAP on the same pillow or in/on the same bed as they sleep in or lay there head on!! I can totally understand why Jay and Anita come across like they don't care and that's because most of the people that wrote reviews or that crapped the bed or on there pillow are the same people that destroyed the room they stayed in or thought if they used every thing wrong or broken in the room after they had already stayed the night in the room that they would get a free night or there damage deposit back. But if the room was so horrible why didn't you bring all the faults to the attention of whoever checked them in to the room right away?? I've been staying here at the Olympia Lodge since May and I've seen all types of people come and go and I'll see alot more come and go too, I'm also going to ask the Owners to update the pictures on these booking sites because they're VERY OUTDATED and the property is cleaned up and will be completely renovated by the time spring rolls around. Please don't go by what the Nasty People left in these reviews and come meet the new Owners and the new housekeeper and maintence man and our new office staff and leave an honest review about places like this because if it wasn't for motels like this there would be alot of people without anywhere to live. Dirty broken undesirable and rude
On arrival was overcharged because the manager was not in. Did not get my $240 back i was overcharged. Stayed for a few days it's loud drugs fights the management are rip off artists and rude. I would never stay here again by choice. One of the dirtiest scum filled places I've rented and I regret booking here for the length of time I did as I did not want to loose my money.

Did not have a good staying there
They need more towels if they do'nt provide clean towels every day. Need renovations with the shower hsndle. The bed was not comfortable.

Worst motel ever
Overpriced for a budget friendly motel. Stayed 3 nights got 2 towels for 2 people. No washcloths no tub stopper. I bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Maid never showed up. TV didn’t work and they don’t bother answering the phone. Keep driving there are lots of decent budget friends places in Calgary. I will never stay there again.

Won’t ever stay there!
Called to book a room and was told if I wasn’t booking for more that one night it wasn’t worth the booking and that they would rather hold out for someone who might book for more night. Front desk clerk was very rude. The arrogance for a 2 star hotel.
