Cleanliness at the limit, small damp room...
There is a common area with fridge, microwave and table/chairs, but with no window and no natural light. The air conditioner and microwave cannot be on in the same time as the electric fuse will blow out and the fuse box it is in someone's room, so you'll have wait to get it back. The backyard has an outdoor fireplace and some outdoor chairs with a table, and is lit up at night, but there is some cable/construction stuff that gives it an industrial, unkept feel, like being in a factory backyard.
We've stayed in many bed&breakfast places in Quebec and elsewhere, but this one is not up to the definition. The decoration is quite unfortunate, no style and no taste, furnished with seemingly second hand not matching things; the bathroom and room very, very basic and small. There was an envelope for tipping the maid, but I'm not sure why, as there was no service at all.
The owner is a very nice lady, helpful with providing information about the area. Breakfast substantial, for an additional 6$/person.
What makes us give the low rating though is the cleanliness, which is at the limit, and the dampness of the room. We were not allowed to open the window (in the summer) because of the morning dew that would condense. There was a fan to move the air, but the whole atmosphere and sleep quality was not good. When we opened the luggage at home, everything in it had a very bad smell.
The price is too high for the overall comfort and for a place appointed more like a motel for truckers. I would not recommend it for vacation.

Well-Priced Rooms in a Quaint, Small-Quebec Town
We booked the 2 twin beds because my wife and I have a difficulty sleeping on a double bed because we are accustomed to sleeping on a much larger King bed. Above where we stayed there was a living area with comfortable couches where you could sit and read a book or just relax. Caro's place appears to have been a house that has been converted to an inn. She has, nonetheless, done a great job of making it inviting and professional.
I think the best rooms are in the adjoining unit in the basement because it is nice and cool down there (it can get hot in Quebec during the summer). But all of the rooms are nice and I believe there is A/C in all units. Caro has new air conditioner units that kept the place cool, but being in the basement is always nice in my opinion. We also booked a room with a private bathroom connected to our room. The shower was a bit smaller than we are accustomed to, but the refrigerator and freezer outside of our room helped us stay within our budget since we could purchase food from the grocery store and eat it.
Overall, the rooms were clean, cool, quiet, and comfortable. Caro and her family are extremely generous and they were always willing to bend over backwards to make our stay a pleasant one. We enjoyed our stay at Caro's place and would definitely return.
