Cozy cabins in quiet location

We stayed in a cabin with one queen and 2 single beds, which was a perfect set-up for a family. The cabin had an electric heater and lots of layers of blankets which kept us cozy at night. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Great Loction in the mountain. Off the beaten path. Very cold at night

Wonderful setting in the Mountains. Comfortable beds. Wonderful, healthy breakfast. Mate de coca from Bolivia (real coca leaves tea). Helpful friendly hosts. Located on an Aymara Village that has been inhabited for over 10,000 years. Quaint town with a single rain-drain channel in the middle of the road, as opposed to the sides. Practical and cute!

Comfortable and friendly

We stayed in a cabin in the Chakana Mountain Lodge for 5 nights. It's located about a kilometer outside of town. The views are magnificent. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We had a heater which we used. There was hot water. The beds were comfortable. There is a kitchen area which you can use with a refrigerator to store your items. Juan Carlos, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We didn't have a car , so it was a challenge to haul luggage to the lodge. If you have a car, it's the perfect place to stay. If you don't have a car, it would be advisable to arrange transportation with them. They also helped us to arrange tours with Cali Tours, which I highly recommend.

Descoordinación desayuno

En general muy buen servicio. Falta un poco de arreglo en las àreas comunes (jardín). Cama con cobertores muy pesados no te dejan dormir bien. Horario desayuno debe agendarse día previo pero no es puntual y si eres el último no hay suficiente.

Wunderschöne Lage und bestes Haus am Platz!

Dies ist eine subjektive Einschätzung resultierend aus einem Kurzaufenthalt in der Chakana Mountain Lodge zu diesem Zeitpunkt (März 2019);
positiv: naturnahe Lage, die gemütlichen Lodges sind komfortabel, neu renoviert und haben alles was man benötigt, ruhiges und erholsames Flair, es besteht die Möglichkeit zu grillen; Frühstück ist für chilenische Verhältnisse sehr gut, das Ehepaar ist ausgesucht freundlich und hilfsbereit mit Tipps für imposante Ausflüge; ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zur Plaza, (Benzin gibt es dort im Store)
negativ: keine Bemerkungen; das Internet funktioniert etwas behäbig
