A GOOD ECONOMIC OPTION NEAR THE ROLLER
A hotel located in the reel, has the advantage of being close to the beach and the different restaurant options for all budgets, for this reason they do not sell dinner, restaurants such as kokorico, where chucho, pizzerias and others, also has warehouses such as d1, carulla, ara where you can buy cheaper drinks, the place is very safe, has an internal pool, the attention we found very good and the cost is economical for the services received, the varied and abundant breakfast, egg arepa, fruit, coffee, eggs, on another occasion was heated, I was afraid of noise but did not feel noise, has elevator.

The hotel is not bad, but TERRIBLE.
On Sunday, July 12, 2026, I went with my husband to the Arhuaco hotel. From the moment we arrived at the reception, the workers in the area served us without formality. The hotel lobby has no presence; it looks more like a neighborhood store. Store packages, beers, and sodas are on display. It does not have air conditioning. On the left side, there are some tables with chairs with no light at all. The people who were working were arguing with other guests who were arriving about some documents they were missing. However, they did it without formality, with a bad-tempered attitude.
After half an hour of waiting, they assigned me the room on the 4th floor and upon entering it had an unpleasant appearance and upon opening the curtain the view looked out onto a construction site in the back. Reason for which I requested a room change because there was construction dust.
Later they showed me the room on another floor, but the exterior view faced a wall. Then they took us to 211; this room was a little better, although the view faced the street and you could see the hotel roof tiles with pigeon droppings, feathers, and a piece of women's underwear.
At night, cockroaches would come out of the bathroom and from the side of the curtain.
On Monday, July 13, I requested that they let my son enter as a visitor, who was passing through Santa Marta and heading to another city. The receptionist on duty answered me in a grotesque manner; I had to pay $102,000 pesos for him to be able to enter the hotel to speak with me. It is not the cost of the money that weighs in this comment, but the arrogant attitude of the employee, instead of saying: "excuse me, at this moment it is not possible to fulfill your request." These employees definitely lack the culture to serve the public, a guest.
My agency told me that breakfast was buffet style, but it was not a buffet at all. As for fruit, they only offered pineapple; they gave 2 eggs per person or the equivalent, a piece of butifarra, an arepa, a piece of corn bollo. The milk was yellowish and seemed to be powdered milk.
There are 2 very small swimming pools.
They do not clean the room on Sundays. This service is essential everywhere, especially in a hotel, not a boarding house.
The parking lot is limited, therefore, if you arrive when it is at full capacity, there is nothing to do but look for another parking lot in the area.
I will never return to this hotel since it is not bad, but terrible. I do not recommend it.

This is not a 4 star hotel not even 2, has roaches, not water heater , not a fridge and when a went to ask at front desk. The guy almost laugh in my face. Is too expensive for the uncomfortable beds . They are hard as a rock

1- VALUE FOR MONEY IS A SCAM.
2-NO ATTENTION FROM HOTEL MANAGEMENT TO GUEST PROBLEMS.
3- N0 ACCESSIBLE TO TELEPHONE COMMUNICATION.
4-POOR CONSTRUCTIVE CONDITION OF THE ROOMS (bulbs and electrical outlet without power), THEY HAVE NOT BEEN REMODELED FOR YEARS. AWKWARD BATHROOM, SMALL AND WITHOUT A PLACE TO PUT THE WET PIECES.

If you're on the Roller this is a good option
The family room is very good. Good location on the Rodadero 1 block from the beach. The pool is pretty good. The best is the attention of all the staff are very friendly. The bad thing is that there is no restaurant or kitchen for the day or night only serve breakfast and there are no vegetarian options for breakfast. Council having anti-noise glass and at least opening restaurant for fast foods would even generate income.
