Quaint little hotel
Our stay at this small hotel was pleasant – a refreshing alternative to standardized hotel chains. With only 12 rooms (2 in the attic) there is a cozy atmosphere here.
Check-in:
The digital check-in was straightforward – we received a code for the key safe, which was particularly convenient for late arrivals.
Breakfast:
The breakfast buffet offered a solid selection: Fresh bread rolls, bread, sausage, cheese, as well as honey, Nutella and jam in small portions. Hot dishes such as scrambled eggs, fried eggs and sausages were also available.
A small selection of cornflakes. Particularly good were the sweet sticks, reminiscent of curd balls, as well as the occasional cake. Unfortunately, the timeslot (Mon–Fri 7–9 am, Sat–Sun 8–10 am) was early for us as late risers and 15 minutes to 9 am where we just wanted to put together something and eat in the room ended with an attached buffet.
Therefore, we decided to sleep in and stock up on bread and cold cuts ourselves. A refrigerator is available in the hallway for all rooms.
Rooms:
Our triple room (room 4) was spacious, but instead of the online stated double bed there were three single beds. Since no one was at the reception, we simply pushed two beds together – which worked without any problems. The beds were very comfortable, but the pillowcases often half slipped off at night. The rooms are facing the quiet side street, however, during our stay across the street an operation was set up, which caused noise during the week from 7 am. But with the windows closed, it was bearable.
Facilities:
Everything necessary was available: Towels, bed linen, soap, shampoo and toilet paper. The shower had good water pressure but only a fixed shower head on the wall. No hair dryer. The curtains darkened well, but were difficult to move.
Location & surroundings:
The hotel restaurant served delicious dishes, and the terrace was a good place to relax.
A walk up the street leads to the centre of Stříbro with the recommended restaurant Excellent. Pilsen is only 30 minutes away.
