Cute central and good value

Cute small hotel downtown. Good for the value, clean and organized. We were very well received by Oswaldo, who was very sweet. No parking but a good deal for a nearby parking place if you stay in the hotel.

Horrible

Just horrible!
Dirty sheets, even with dried blood stains. Incredibly loud street noise. It was impossible to rest or sleep. The shower didn't work properly and there was no hot water. The walls were smeared with pencils. This is no joke... I have never experienced anything worse. Staff was nice but could only speak Spanish and didn't inform about anything - no wifi, no breakfast times... nothing.

Staff was nice, although lacking several skills in the department of hospitality.
After a 3 week visit to Costa Rica I've stayed in several hotels in the price range of 42-65 $ / night. This night cost me 65$ and is the only hotel I've disliked on my trip.

Bad experience

We didn't enjoy our stay at this hotel. We almos had to run: rooms are quit comfortable, but there wasn't nor hot water, neither AC. The architecture of inside the hotel is interesting, but you get a poor internet signal. Furthermore, breakfast was awfull: there was only bread, butter n cheescream. No eggs, or ham or fruits.

Professional traveler

The room did not have AC nor hot water. No windows and roaches. The people were so nice though!!! $75 a night and not worth the money at all. The wifi would go out every few minutes so forget NetFlix.
