Nice centrally located hotel. Embedded in a really nice restaurant. Charming and boutique. Friendly and nice staff. Recommended.

Good location and staff helpful on check-in & breakfast. Hotel itself is tired and in need of a renovation. Stairs to top level were tricky and I am fit & able not sure how others would cope. Room was good, if a little quirky but bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was average overall and sadly didn’t pass the international scrambled egg test. Served its purpose for us but overpriced for the condition.

Excellent

A great boutique hotel with a fabulous restaurant. Staff are very friendly and the room was a good size with a lovely walk in shower. Breakfast was really good and the restaurant was wonderful serving tasty treats like John Dory with truffle and melt in the mouth Tuna steaks coated with sesame seeds.

Our stay at Hotel Galija was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Pula, within walking distance of the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and historic sites, yet still peaceful and comfortable.
The rooms were spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The staff deserves special praise for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. From check-in to departure, we felt truly welcomed and cared for.
One of the highlights was the excellent restaurant and breakfast experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, offering authentic local flavors that made our stay even more memorable.
Hotel Galija combines charm, comfort, and exceptional service perfectly. It’s the ideal place to stay when visiting Pula, whether for a romantic getaway or a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended — we would gladly return anytime!

Staff were all very efficient and welcoming. There’s a good buffet breakfast and an excellent restaurant across the road. A small sun terrace is occupied from early morning by smokers so avoid room 1 unless you want to listen to them in the morning
