Excellent location and service
I stayed a few nights in town in ores and it was a nice change to pace to really have the island feel, beach outside your door, beach front restaurant every night for dinner and drinks and then swimming right there at night.
The hotel is about five or six small suites
All new and fresh feeling they were clean, had large bathrooms and a nice kitchenette area
Breakfast was set out every morning and you could coo your own eggs, bacon, toast , coffee etc it was nice and leisurely and came in handy to get the day started.
Check in was easy, if you’re coming in late night please make arrangements as the hard working staff would make there way to the hotel to check in people late night and sometimes they’d cancel,
It seems they all use WhatsApp and will message you before you’re arrival to try to ensure someone will be there whenever it is you arrive so stay in contact. The people were lovely the place was excellent .
Mambo beach is one of the main beach areas and is a five minute walk in sandals, as is the sunscape resort and casino. Five minutes walking past that is the sea aquarium area and very nice resort area with great snorkeling and a dive shop right there.
The location is a must for hitting up mambo beach , Jan thiel and the aquarium areas, you can take the small bus to and from town for only 2 gilder which is about $1.20
I suggest walking around and using the bus to get to know the area and the locals
