One of the places in Svaneti you should not miss
Kheshkeli Huts became one of those places that I’m genuinely happy we didn’t miss.
It is a beautiful mountain location with traditional-style wooden huts, small cafés, the possibility of arranging a horse ride, two levels of viewing areas and two small, newly built churches.
But the real treasure of Kheshkeli is the landscape.
The views over the forest-covered mountains are simply breathtaking. It is one of those places where you don’t really need to do anything — just stop, look around and enjoy being surrounded by nature.
Another very useful thing to know: the road all the way to Kheshkeli is fully paved and in very good condition. And the drive itself is part of the experience, with beautiful scenery along the way.
For me, Kheshkeli is an ideal place to slow down for a while and connect with nature.
I’m very happy we didn’t miss this beautiful place. It became one more wonderful memory of Svaneti — a region that seems to keep giving you another spectacular view just when you think you have already seen enough.

Definitely visit this place
There are beautiful huts around the area which can be booked to have an excellent mountain view morning . Also this place has one of the iconic swings of the Georgia.
There is a cute little cafe as well and few spots for beautiful and cute pictures. Bike can be rented to have a cool experience around the area.

Swing ?
Admittedly, the views are sensational and it is a good spot to have a drink overlooking this majestic nature. Apparently, the highlight here is the swing . . .
I gave that a miss.
